Berdasarkan hasil analisa data yang diperoleh pada penelitian ini, dapat disimpulkan bahwa:
1. Menjawab pertanyaan penelitian bahwa terdapat hubungan antara gambaran EKG pada pasien COVID-19 dengan mortalitas selama rawatan di RSUP H. Adam Malik Medan.
2. Dari penelitian ini didapatkan 57.3% pasien COVID-19 yang dirawat di RSUP HAM mempunyai abnormalitas EKG.
3. Kelainan EKG yang paling sering dijumpai pada penelitian ini adalah sinus takikardi.
4. Angka mortalitas pada penelitian ini adalah 21.7%.
5. Sinus takikardi dan QRS durasi ≥ 110 ms, dapat dijadikan faktor prediktor mortalitas independent pada pasien COVID-19.
6. 2 Keterbatasan Penelitian dan Saran
1. Penelitian ini bersifat sentra tunggal sehingga selanjutnya dapat dilakukan penelitian pada beberapa sentra agar dapat meningkatkan reliabilitas hasil penelitian.
2. Jangka waktu pelaksanaan pada penelitian ini cukup singkat yaitu hanya selama masa rawatan, sehingga diharapkan pada penelitian selanjutnya dapat dilakukan pemantauan yang lebih lama.
66 3. Tidak semua pasien dalam penelitian ini dilakukan pemeriksaan enzim jantung troponin I dan NT-ProBNP, sehingga diharapkan semua pasien COVID-19 kedepannya dilakukan pemeriksaan tersebut.
4. Peneliti tidak membandingkan presentasi EKG saat rawatan dengan EKG sebelum rawatan untuk adanya temuan baru, dan faktor ini harus dipelajari lebih lanjut.
5. Tidak semua pasien pada penelitian ini dilakukan evaluasi EKG sehingga kedepannya dapat dilakukan penelitian cohort prospektif dengan menentukan waktu dilakukannya EKG evaluasi yang sama pada setiap pasien COVID-19
6. Diharapkan studi dimasa depan dapat menilai interaksi antara infeksi SARS-CoV-2 dengan gangguan kardiovaskular seperti peningkatan tekanan pengisian, fraksi ejeksi ventrikel kiri, dan iskemia miokard yang merupakan area penting dan bermanfaat untuk memahami efek COVID-19 dan kardiovaskular.
