Berdasarkan kelompok usia, jumlah pegawai terbanyak didominasi oleh kelompok usia di bawah 30 tahun atau sebesar 52,59% dari total jumlah pegawai Bank Mandiri. Hal ini mengindikasikan bahwa pertumbuhan Perusahaan didukung oleh sebagian besar insan Mandiri yang masih memiliki usia produktif.

Berdasarkan status kepegawaian, pegawai Bank Mandiri memiliki 30.024 pegawai tetap, 8.694 pegawai

kontrak dan 222 pegawai trainee. Sesuai dengan

proses rekrutmen Bank Mandiri, pegawai baru akan memiliki status kepegawaian tidak tetap atau kontrak di awal masa kerjanya; kemudian dalam kurun waktu 1-2 tahun dan setelah lolos proses evaluasi kinerja, maka status kepegawaian akan berubah menjadi pegawai tetap; kecuali tenaga kerja asing atau tenaga ahli yang hanya bisa memiliki status pegawai tidak tetap (kontrak).

Based on status of employment, Bank Mandiri has 30,024 permanent employees, 8,694 contract employees and 222 trainees. According to Bank Mandiri’s recruitment process, the new employees will have non-permanent or contract status of employment for 1 – 2 years after first time commencing of their tenure; then after passing a performance evaluation process, their employment status will eventually change to permanent; except for foreign workers or expert staff who can only have non-permanent (contract) status.

Employee Composition Based on Age Group

Based on age group, the largest portion of employees was dominated by employees below 30 years of age group or 52.59% out of the total Bank Mandiri’s employees. This indicated that the overall Company's growth is backed up primarily by those in the productive age group.

Berdasarkan jenjang pendidikan, per akhir tahun 2016, pegawai yang memiliki gelar Strata 1 (S1) terlihat mencapai 82% dari total jumlah pegawai.

Lokasi kerja pegawai Bank Mandiri terbagi menjadi empat unit kerja yaitu kantor pusat, kantor cabang, kantor luar negeri, dan anak perusahaan. Berdasarkan pembagian lokasi kerja, pada tahun 2016, jumlah pegawai di kantor pusat Bank Mandiri menurun 5%, di kantor cabang meningkat 10%, di kantor luar negeri meningkat 8%, dan di anak perusahaan meningkat 27%, jika dibandingkan tahun 2015.

Bank Mandiri employees work location is divided into four business units, namely the head office, branch offices, overseas offices and subsidiaries. Based on location of work units, in 2016, the number of employees at Bank Mandiri’s head office decreased by 5%, at branch offices increased by 10%, in overseas offices increased by 8%, while the subsidiaries’ increased by 27%, compared to 2015.
