Description: The Development Application seeks approval for the demolition of existing structures, construction of 6 residential flat buildings ranging in height from 4–8 storeys comprising 248 units and basement parking in 4 stages.

The Development Application is classed as ‘Nominated Integrated Development’

under the provisions of Section 4.46 of the Environmental Planning and Assessment Act 1979, requiring referral to the NSW Natural Resources Access Regulator under the provisions of the Water Management Act 2000.

The Development Application will be reported to the NSW Government’s Sydney Central City Planning Panel as the determining authority.

PUBLIC NOTICE

EXHIBITION OF DRAFT AMENDMENTS TO CONTRIBUTIONS PLAN NO. 15 – BOX HILL PRECINCT (FP216).

At its meeting of 24 September 2019, Council resolved to exhibit draft amendments to Contributions Plan No. 15 – Box Hill Precinct (‘CP15’).

The amendments are being made in response to formal advice from the Minister for Planning and Public Spaces received by Council in August 2019. The Minister’s advice specifies 12 amendments which must be made to CP15, in order for Council to be eligible to receive ‘contribution gap’ funding. The draft amendments implement the Minister’s requirements and include changes to capital works and land costs, contingency costs, administration costs, and revision of actual and forecast timing.

The draft amendments are now on exhibition and available for inspection at the following locations:

• Council’s website www.thehills.nsw.gov.au under Major Plans on Exhibition;

• Customer Service Centre of Council’s Administration Complex 3 Columbia Court, Norwest

(Monday–Friday: 8.30am–4.30pm);

• Vinegar Hill Memorial Library
