PUBLIC NOTICE
PROPOSED ROAD CLOSING UNDER SECTION 38B ROADS ACT 1993
In pursuance of the provisions of the Roads Act 1993, notice is hereby given that The Hills Shire Council proposes to close the public road listed in Schedule 1.
Schedule 1: The road under consideration comprises part of Council public road known as Cataract Road, Box Hill being an irregular shape approximately 485 square metres adjoining Lot 2211 DP 1217661, Parish of Nelson, County of Cumberland.
Upon closure of the road Council intends to sell the land to the adjoining landowner and the land will vest in The Hills Shire Council for disposal action to be taken by Council.
All interested persons are hereby invited to make submissions concerning the proposal to the General Manager, The Hills Shire Council, PO Box 7064, Baulkham Hills BC NSW 2153 within twenty-eight (28) days of the date of this advertisement.
Please note that under the provisions of the Government Information (Public Access) Act 2009, such submissions may be referred to third parties for consideration.
Once the submission period is completed The Hills Shire Council will consider all duly made submissions before deciding whether to continue with the road closure proposal.
