Launch of the Student Portal

Purpose

To tell schools about the launch of the Student Portal for students in the new Queensland Certificate of Education (QCE) system.

Information

The Student Portal gives students in Years 10 and 11 access to their learning accounts and other information related to their senior studies. The first release has three features:

My Details — allows students to check their details and update their email address and/or mobile phone number

My Learning Account — allows students to view their subject enrolments and learning providers

My Online Courses — allows students to complete the QCAA academic integrity course.

Access

• The Student Portal login page is accessed via a link on the myQCE website at https://myqce.qcaa.qld.edu.au.

• To register for access to their accounts, students need their 10-digit learner unique identifier (LUI).

• Once students have registered, they use their nominated email and password to log in.

Future releases

Future releases will add the following information and resources:

• QCAA syllabuses

• external assessment timetables

• unit results, assessment results and final subject results (as they become available)

• VET results for qualifications and competencies

• enrolments and results for recognised studies

• QCE eligibility tracker

• certificates.

What you need to do

• Encourage Year 10 and 11 students to register to access the Student Portal at https://myqce.qcaa.qld.edu.au.

• Ensure students have their LUIs. To assist with distribution of LUI numbers, schools can export lists of student names and LUIs from the Student Management application. See the QCAA factsheet Accessing learner unique identifiers (LUIs).

• Remind current Year 12 students that they can access their final results on Saturday 14 December via their learning account on the Student Connect website at

studentconnect.qcaa.qld.edu.au.
