ABSTRACT
1bis system will integrate the existing technology in the car with a transmitter
to be added on the key chain and a base station module to be installed in the car. The
transponder will be sending a signal at all instances of time. The key is act as the
transmitter, which means when the transmitter gets close to the car, the base station
which installed in car will activate the transmitter, which in turn send shake-hand signal back to the base station. When the transmitter in the range of the car therefore
set a true output signal and this system will ィ。ーセョ@ automatically. The system is
designed to automatically unlock or lock the vehicle as the operator approaches the
vehicle. The bidirectional communication is used between the base station and
transponder units. By using the PIC as the microcontroller unit (MCU) to operate this
system because of this PIC features which consists of the Analog Front End (AFE).
1bis presents an issue for the life expectancy of the battery. Therefore, in order to
reduce the operating current, the digital MCU section can stay in low-current mode
(Sleep), while the Analog Front-End (AFE) is looking for a valid input signal. The
digital MCU section is waking up only when the AFE detects a valid input signal
