— Earth is getting worse by the increasing number of electronic waste, such as computers. Causes of electronic waste is not only because the computer is broken but also caused by the computer can no longer support the current needs. On campus or school laboratory is also met by the electronic waste. This happens because the college or school must keep abreast of the latest technology, while older computers cannot support for a job at this time. But with the current needs of the Cloud Computing can still supported though using an old computer. Cloud Computing is a technology that provides services to computer resources over a network. Proxmox providing open source cloud computing services as well as server virtualization management support KVM and container-virtualization.
Keywords: Computer, Cloud Computers, Network, Proxmox.

Introduction
Electronic waste is a global problem today. Growth and development are very fast Computer technology is also a cause of electronic waste. Electronic waste of Computer not only because the computer is old or damaged but also due to the computer is no longer able to support human the needs like faster.
Schools and colleges have computer labs that number is not small. If you will follow the development of computer then it costs a very large and cause problems are electronic waste. To save and facilitate the use of old computers need to provision a server device in the form of VPS (Virtual Private Server), the provision aims to build a Private Cloud Computing using Proxmox VE 3.0 as Virtualization Servers are given access to specific users. This can help in optimizing the old computer so that they can be used.
The following is the purpose of research
1. How does cloud computing technology can resolve the problem of electronic waste?
2. How to optimize the old computer so that they can be used for jobs that are very complex and fast? 3. Comparing the performance of a new computer with the old computers that use cloud computing in
doing a job?
4. How is the performance of Cloud Computing to be able to serve all the computers that are in the lab?

Literature Review
A. Computer
Computer comes from the Greek language, namely computer, which literally means counting. Then the computer in language is a tool that perform arithmetic calculation process. While literally, the computer is an electronic device that has the ability to perform data processing of information in the form of text, images, or sounds to produce the desired output. Broadly speaking, the computer system is composed of three parts: hardware, software and operator of computer users (brain ware)

B. Computer Network
The computer network is a system consisting of computers, software and other network devices that work together to achieve a common goal. [1]
The purpose of the network is the computer:
1. Sharing of resources. For example, share the printer usage, CPU, memory, hard drive 2. Communication. For example, electronic mail, instant messaging, chat
3. Access to information. Examples of web browsing.
In order to achieve the same goal every part of the computer network requesting and providing services (service). The party requesting / receiving such services client (client) and that provide / send service is called a server.
C. Network Protocols
Protocols are the rules that govern communications between computers on a network so that computers and computer network members can communicate different platforms. Network protocol is a set of rules that are used in the network. [1]
TCP / IP is one of the types of protocols that allow the collection of computers to communicate and exchange data within a network (network). This protocol cannot stand alone, because the protocol is a set of protocols (protocol suite). The following 4 layers (layer) TCP / IP:
Fig. 2 Layer TCP/IP
a. Application Layer
A layer that is responsible for providing access to applications to services TCP / IP network. b. Transport Layer
This layer is useful for making communication using the connection session is connection-oriented or connectionless broadcast.
c. Internet Layer
This layer serves to perform mapping (routing) and encapsulation of data packets makes the packet IP packet networks.
d. Physical Layer
This layer serves to put the frames over the network at the network media used.
D. Cloud computing
Fig. 3 Cloud Computing
Based on the types of services cloud computing services is divided into five layers, namely:
Fig. 4 Cloud Computing Services
a. Client
Cloud Client consists of computer hardware and software that relies on Cloud Computing to be able to perform his duties.
b. Software as a Service (SaaS)
A service that provides application finished / ready to end users, the characteristics of this service is the user does not need to make an application, no need to prepare a place and also infrastructure. 1 c. Platform as a Service (PaaS)
Is a service that rents space to run the application and user The place is like operating systems, databases, frameworks, and so that is a container for the passage of the application. The hallmark of this service is the user does not need to do maintenance and do not need to set up the infrastructure, so users can remain focused on building applications.
d. Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS)
IaaS is one level lower than the PaaS. This is a service that rents service information technology resources base, which includes storage, processing power, memory, operating system, etc., which can be used by tenants to run the application you had.
e. Server
Server layer consists of computer hardware and software that have been created specifically for the performance of services managing Cloud.
Types of Cloud Computing Development Model [5] 1. Public Cloud
Public cloud or external cloud is cloud computing in the traditional form in which the resources are set dynamically via the internet via web applications and web services
2. Community cloud
Community Cloud is a cloud that was founded by several organizations that require some infrastructure and the same requirements, so that they can share resources and take advantage of cloud computing
3. Private Cloud
Internal private cloud or cloud computing cloud is a service offered to the private network. Its products include automation virtualization offers the ability to host applications or virtual machines on the host. Private cloud computing will provide mutual benefit, such as the cost of the hardware becomes cheaper, easier recovery if there is a crash and error, as well as have the possibility to scale well to larger or smaller depending on demand.
4. Hybrid cloud
Hybrid cloud is a term used to describe the incorporation of more than one type of cloud, for example, public cloud with private cloud, internal or external. Can also refer to the grouping cloud server virtualization in working with physical hardware. Both types of virtualization and physical hardware will be used to run a service, this is called the combined cloud.
E. Proxmox VE (Virtual Environment)
Proxmox VE (virtual environment) is a debian based linux distro devoted as virtualization. Proxmox VE is an open source software virtualization platform for running virtual machines and virtual appliances. And by default include OpenVZ and KVM technologies are provided in the text modes (in console mode). Where the administrative process carried out uses web access.
The technology used by proxmox VE namely: a. Container Virtualization (Open VZ)
Technology is suggested to run a linux server. Openvz making and keeping secure and insulated container. Each container performs and execute exactly like a stand-alone server, a container can be rebooted independently and have root access, users,
IP addresses, memory, processes, files, applications, system libraries and configuration files themselves.
b. Full virtualization (KVM)
KVM (Kernel-based Virtual Machine) is a full virtualization solution for x86-based hardware that has the virtualization extensions (Intel VT or AMD-V CPU). Each virtual machine has private virtual hardware such as: network card, disk, adapters, graphics, and others.
Some things to note related proxmox VE:
a. Proxmox VE is provided only for x86_64 machine so it cannot be used for 32-bit machines.
b. At the time of installation, proxmox VE is installed directly from the CD and will delete the entire contents of the hard drive so that if you want to just try proxmox VE, use a blank hard drive.
c. If you want to use KVM, proxmox require a motherboard / CPU supports virtualization technology that Intel VT / AMD-V.

Results and Discussion
Old computer still works if used new windows and new Ubuntu with proxmox,. Actually windows 7 and
Ubuntu 16.04 can’t work well when the minimum specifications being met.
Fig 6 Result performance of processor, memory, network and disk used proxmox
From the measurement processor, memory, network, and disk can be known computer work quite heavy when first turned on after that it will work fine and stable. old computer can be used if the machine still works well. so using proxmox can solve the e-waste problem because computer distributed 74% e-waste in the world.
Fig 7 Comparison of the production and use of electronic
Compare the performance of new computers with older computers that use cloud computing in doing a job:
New Computer Old Computer
The network is not busy 00.00.42 00.00.42
The network is busy 00.00.55 00.00.56
the results of the comparison can be seen that there is no apparent significant difference between the old and new computers when using Proxmox in running a job. The new computer specification: Processor Intel(R) Core(TM) i3-2330M CPU @ 2.20GHz, 2200 Mhz, 2 Core(s), 4 Logical Processor(s), Installed Physical Memory (RAM) 2,00 GB, Size 465,76 GB.
when tested with 20 units of old computer with Ubuntu operating system, it can be seen the results from the following table:
Table 2 Computer used Ubuntu operating system
From the table old computer still work well used Ubuntu and Windows. Processor, disk and memory still stable but network looks like a bit busy with the addition of computer life. Cloud computing technology can serve the entire computer laboratory.
5.
Conclusion
Cloud Computing is a technology that provides services to computer resources over a network. Proxmox providing open source cloud computing services as well as server virtualization management support KVM and container-virtualization. Proxmox can resolve the problem of e-waste because old computer can run new windows or new linux operating system. Actually new windows or new Ubuntu can’t work well when the minimum specifications being met. Cloud computing used Proxmox operating system. It will install in server computer server and it will be connected to old computer on the network. Its design can optimize the old computer. And old computer can be used if the machine still works well. If there are additional number of computers that too many, suggested to upgrade memory and hard drive on a computer server that the client computer can run more smoothly.
