ABSTRAK
Kader Posyandu merupakan salah satu petugas yang berasal dari masyarakat yang difungsikan untuk membantu pelayanan masyarakat termasuk pelayanan kesehatan. Keberadaan kader posyandu menjadi penting untuk mendukung upaya pemberdayaan masyarakat bidang kesehatan. Prestasi kerja kader posyandu didasarkan kepada keberhasilannya dalam menggerakkan masyarakat untuk berpartisipasi aktif dalam pelayanan posyandu. Banyak faktor yang mendukung prestasi kerja kader Posyandu antara lain komitmen kerja dan karakteristik pekerjaan. Permasalahan prestasi kerja kader Posyandu juga masih menjadi masalah di Kota Lhokseumawe.
Penelitian ini adalah penelitian survey dengan pendekatan explanatory research yang dimaksudkan untuk menganalisis pengaruh karakteristik pekerjaan dan komitmen kerja terhadap prestasi kerja kader posyandu di Kota Lhokseumawe tahun 2014. Populasi penelitian seluruh kader posyandu di wilayah kerja Dinas Kesehatan Kota Lhokseumawe, dan sampel terpilih sebanyak 87 orang. Metode pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini meliputi data primer dan data sekunder. Analisa data menggunakan uji regresi logistik berganda pada taraf kepercayaan 95%.
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan menunjukkan 55,2% kader Posyandu di Kota Lhokseumawe memiliki prestasi kerja kategori kurang. Berdasarkan karakteristik pekerjaan diketahui bahwa keragaman keterampilan, jati diri tugas, otonomi dan umpan balik termasuk kurang, sedangkan dilihat dari aspek tugas penting termasuk kategori baik. Berdasarkan komitmen kerja mayoritas memiliki komitmen afektif kategori baik, dan komitmen kontinuas serta normatif kategori kurang. Hasil uji regresi logistik berganda menunjukkan variabel keragaman keterampilan, otonomi, umpan balik dan komitmen afektif merupakan variabel yang memengaruhi prestasi kerja kader Posyandu di Kota Lhokseumawe.
Disarankan agar melakukan advokasi untuk alokasi anggaran insentif khusus bagi kader Posyandu guna mendorong dan menstimulan kemauan kader Posyandu untuk meningkatkan prestasi kerjanya, dan optimalisasi peran dan fungsi kader Posyandu

ABSTRACT
A posyandu cadre is the person who comes from the common people; he is functional to serve people in health service. The existence of posyandu cadres becomes important in supporting people empowerment in the health field. Their performance is based on their success in triggering people to actively participate in posyandu service. There are many factors which support their perfomance, such as work commitment and work characteristic, but it still becomes a proble in Lhokseumawe.
The research used a survey method with an explanatory research approach which was aimed to analyze the influence of work characteristic and work commitment on posyandu cadres’s work performance at Lhokseumawe, in 2014. The population was all posyandu cadres in the working area of the Health Services at Lhokseumawe, and 87 of the were used as the samples. The data concisted of primary and secondary data and analyzed by using multiple logistic regression at the reliability level of 95%.
The result of th research showed that 55,2% of the respondents at Lhokseumawe were in bad category. Based on work characteristic, it was found that the variety of skill, personality, autonomy, feedback was in bad category, while the aspect of important task was in good category. Based on the work commitment, it was found that the affective commitment of the majority of respondents was in good category, but continual and normative commitment was in bad category. The result of multiple logistic regression analysis showed that the variables the variety of skill, autonomy, feedback and the affective commitment were the variables which influenced posyandu cadre’s work performance at Lhokseumawe.
It is recommended that advocacy should be carried out to allocate insentive budget for posyandu cadres in order to encourage and to stimulate posyandu cadre’s widh to improve their work performace, and their role and function should be optimized.
