Profitabilitas merupakan ukuran kemampuan suatu perusahaan untuk memperoleh laba dalam suatu periode atau untuk mengukur tingkat efektifitas dan efisiensi suatu perusahaan dalam menggunakan aset yang dimiliki. Pada penelitian ini rata-rata profitabilitas Klub The Big Five Premier League lima tahun terakhir mengalami fluktuasi dan cenderung menurun. Ada banyak faktor yang mempengaruhi profitabilitas yang salah satunya adalah pengelolaan investasi bersih perusahaan.
Penelitian ini bertujuan memperoleh (1) Gambaran net investmentpada klub The Big FivePremier League periode 2010-2014.(2) gambaran profitabilitas pada klub The Big FivePremier League periode 2010-2014. (3) gambaran pengaruh net investmentterhadap profitabilitas pada klub The Big FivePremier League periode 2010-2014.
Objekdalampenelitianiniadalahklub The Big Five Premier Leagueperiode 2010-2014.Variabelbebas (X) dalampenelitianiniadalahnet investment, sertavariabelterikat (Y) profitabilitas. Untuk mengukur pengaruh pada penelitian ini maka Net Investment (NINV) sebagai rasio dari net investment dan Return On Assets (ROA) sebagai rasio dari profitabilitas. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian deskriptif dan verifikatif dengan desain penelitian time series design. Analisis statistik yang digunakan adalah regresi linier sederhana dengan
tingkat signifikansi α = 5% menggunakan alat bantu program SPSS 21.0 for Windows.
Hasil penelitian yang dibuktikan dengan uji F menunjukkan bahwa model regresi dapat digunakan untuk mengambil kesimpulan. Adapun pengaruh variabel independen dengan hasil uji t adalah net investmentberpengaruh positif terhadap profitabilitas dengan nilai thitung 2,661.

Profitability is a measure of the ability of a company to gain profit in each period or to measure the level of business effectivity and efficiency in use the assets. In this study, the average profitability of the Football clubs of the big five premier league in the last five years has fluctuated, and tended to decrease. There are many factors that affect the profitability and one on order is net investment.. The purpose of research are (1) description of net investment on football clubs the big five premier league from 2010-2014. (2) description of profitability on football clubs the big five premier league from 2010-2014. (3) description of net investmenteffect on profitability in the football clubs the big five premier league from 2010-2014.
The object of this research is an football clubs the big five premier league from 2010-2014.. The independent variable (X) in this research is net investment, while the dependent variable (Y) in this research is profitability.To measure the effects in this study it is used Net Investment (NINV) as the ratio of net investment and return on assets (ROA) as the ratio of profitability. This type of research is descriptive and verification with design research time series design. Statistical
analysis used simple linear regression with a significance level α = 5% using the
tool SPSS 21.0 for Windows.
The results of the study as evidenced by F test reveals that regression models can use to make a conclusion. The effect of independent variable with the t test results are net investmentis positiveeffect on profitability.
