ABSTRAK
Tata letak kantor departemen sistem informasi Geografis (SIG) dilakukan untuk pengembangan potensi tempat strategis untuk mencari informasi tentang lokasi kantor bangunan di kota kebumen. Untuk mengatasi masalah seperti lokasi geografis daerah berkembang, tentu saja, pada kebutuhan akan sistem yang fleksibel salah satunya peta.
Maka dalam tugas akhir ini akan dibuat dalam bentuk aplikasi Sistem Informasi Geografis (SIG) untuk mencari lokasi kantor, selebihnya untuk membantu menebar gambaran geografis pertumbuhan bangunan di pusat kota, selebihnya Daerah sekitar dengan merekomendasikan pencarian lokasi.
Sistem informasi geografis (GIS) memiliki kemampuan untuk memberikan informasi dan menampilkannya dalam bentuk peta, GIS dapat menampilkan informasi menggunakan peta digital yang dipetakan SVG (Scalable Vector Graphics), peta lebih unggul, dari peta berbasis piksel seperti Gif, png atau jpg

ABSTRACT
