(Toona sureni BL Merr). TERHADAP FUNGSI HATI DAN NILAI DARAH TIKUS (Rattus norvegicus L.) JANTAN YANG DIPAPARI KARBON
TETRAKLORIDA (CCl4)
ABSTRAK
Pengaruh ekstrak metanol daun suren (Toona sureni BL Merr) terhadap fungsi hati jumlah eritrosit dan kadar hemoglobin tikus (Rattus norvegicus) jantan yang dipapari oleh karbon tetraklorida (CCl4) telah dilakukan dari April sampai dengan
November 2015. Penelitian menggunakan rancangan acak lengkap dan dibagi ke dalam 8 perlakuan: yaitu 2 kontrol positif, 2 kontrol pelarut, kontrol normal, 3 perlakuan yaitu pemberian ekstrak suren dengan konsentrasi berbeda (100, 150 dan 200 mg/kg/BB). Tikus perlakuan dipapari CCl4 selama 10 hari kemudian
diberi ekstrak suren selama 14 hari dan darah diambil dari jantung. Hasilnya menunjukkan pemberian ekstrak daun suren menurunkan kadar SGPT dan meningkatkan jumlah eritrosit secara signifikan pada dosis 100 mg/ kg/BB.

THE EFFECT OF METHANOL EXTRACT OF SUREN LEAVES EXTRACT (Toona sureni Bl Merr.) ON THE FUNCTION OF LIVER AND
RED BLOOD INDICES IN MALE RAT (Rattus norvegicus L.) INDUCED BY CARBON TETRACLORIDE (CCl4)
ABSTRACT
The effect of methanol extract of suren leaves (Toona sureni BL Merr) on the function of liver, erythrocyte count and haemoglobin level in male rat (Rattus norvegicus) induced by carbon tetracloride (CCl4) had been studied from April to
November 2015. This research performed with completely randomized design and treatment was divided into 8 groups: 2 groups of positive control, 2 groups of solvent control, normal control, and 3 groups of extract concentration (100, 150 and 200 mg/kg/bw). The rats were exposed to CCl4 for 10 days and followed by
suren extract for 14 days and the blood sample collected from the heart by cardiac puncture method. The result showed methanol extract of suren leaves decreased SGPT level and increased erythrocytes count significantly at 100 mg/kg/bw.
