This study aims to describe the use of Socrative application and to find out the members' responses of the use of Socrative application in written test at MEC English Syariah Banjarmasin. In this case researcher uses descriptive qualitative that describe the state of data in the form of sentences or descriptions that is clear.
The subjects in this study were trainers and members. Data collection techniques used in this study were questionnaire, interview, and documentation. The results of this study are Socrative in written test application used by trainers and members. The trainer makes a number of questions related to the material that have studied and members answer the question on their smartphone using Socrative application. The response of members using socrative application is easier to answer test without carrying stationaries and so on. They are easy to answer because the questions are related to the material taught while learning.
They have a suggestion regarding this activity that it would be better if the results of the written test are displayed in detail with numbers. They also gave a response that Socrative had problems if the internet network was unstable. However, during several seasons of written tests using this application, most of them were answered smoothly because at MEC provided free Wi-Fi or hotspot. So, from the results obtained on average they like Socrative because it is more effective and efficient in terms of time energy and tools.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan penggunaan aplikasi Socrative dan mengetahui tanggapan member terhadap penggunaan aplikasi Socrative pada written test di MEC English Syariah Banjarmasin. Dalam hal ini penulis menggunakan teknik dekriptif kualitatif yaitu menggambarkan keadaan data kedalam bentuk kalimat atau uraian agar terlihat jelas. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah trainer and members. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kuisioner, interview, dan dokumentasi.
Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah aplikasi Socrative digunakan oleh trainer dan member. Trainer membuat beberapa pertanyaan yang berkaitan dengan materi yang telah dipelajari dan member akan menjawab soal tersebut pada smartphone mereka menggunakan aplikasi Socrative. Adapun tanggapan member dalam penggunaan aplikasi Socrative yaitu lebih mudah dalam menjawab tanpa membawa alat tulis dan sebagainya. Mereka juga mudah dijawab karena pertanyaan terkait dengan materi yang diajarkan saat pembelajaran. Mereka memberikan saran mengenai kegiatan ini bahwa akan lebih baik jika hasil written test ditampilkan secara rinci dengan angka. Mereka juga memberikan tanggapan bahwa Socrative ini memiliki masalah jika jaringan internet tidak stabil. Namun, selama beberapa sesi written test menggunakan aplikasi ini, kebanyakan dari mereka menjawab pertanyaan dengan lancar tanpa gangguan jaringan, karena di MEC telah disediakan Wi-Fi gratis atau hotspot. Sehingga dari hasil yang didapat kebanyakan dari mereka menyukai menggunakan aplikasi socrative karena lebih efektif dan efisien dalam hal energi dan alat waktu.
