PENGARUH PENGGUNAAN Indigofera falcata PADA RANSUM SAPI PERAH BERBASIS JERAMI PADI TERHADAP
JUMLAH BAKTERI DAN PROTOZOA RUMEN

ABSTRAK
Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan Indigofera falcata ransum sapi perah berbasis jerami padi terhadap jumlah bakteri dan protozoa rumen. Rancangan penelitian ini menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL). Perlakuannya asalah penggunaan Indigofera falcata dalam konsentrat sapi perah berbasis jerami padi, yaitu perlakuan R1 (jerami padi 7%, konsentrat 60%, dan Indigofera falcata 33%), R2 (jerami padi 15%, konsentrat 45%, dan Indigofera falcata 40%), R3 (jerami padi 23%, konsentrat 30%, dan Indigofera falcata 47%), R4 (jerami padi 30%, konsentrat 15%, dan Indigofera falcata 55%), dan R5 (jerami padi 38%, konsentrat 0%, dan Indigofera falcata 62%). Masing-masing perlakuan diulang sebanyak empat kali. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis dengan menggunakan analisis ragam, selanjutnya untuk mengetahui perbedaan antar perlakuan dilakukan uji lanjut menggunakan uji Jarak Berganda Duncan. Peubah yang diukur adalah jumlah bakteri dan protozoa rumen. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan ransum sapi perah berpengaruh terhadap jumlah bakteri, tetapi tidak berpengaruh terhadap jumlah protozoa. Penggunaan 55 % sampai 62% Indigofera falcata dalam ransum menghasilkan nilai rataan total jumlah bakteri tertinggi.

ABSTRACT
The research was carry out to know the effect of Indigofera falcata utilization as concentrate replaced base rice straw in dairy ration on bacteria population and protozoa of rumen. A Completely Randomized Design (CRD) was used in this research the treatment were indigofera falcata utilization as concentrate replaced, that is : R1 (rice straw 7%, concentrate 60%, dan Indigofera falcata 33%), R2 (rice straw 15%, concentrate 45%, and Indigofera falcata 40%), R3 (rice straw 23%, concentrate 30%, and Indigofera falcata 47%), R4 (rice straw 30%, concentrate 15%, and Indigofera falcata 55%), and R5 (rice straw 38%, concentrate 0%, and Indigofera falcata 62%). This treatment were four times. Date were analysis by varian analysis and different between mean treatmens were analysis by Duncen Multiple Range Test. Changer the measured is the amount of bacteria population and protozoa of rumen. Result of research indicate that usage of ration dairy cattle base have an effect on to is full scale of bacteria population, but do not have an effect on of protozoa population. Usage 55% to 62% Indigofera falcata in ration will yield total generalization value of highest bacteria population.
