This is a reference made under subsection 20(3) of the Industrial Relations Act 1967 [ Act 177] arising out of the dismissal of Ching Suet Yeen (hereinafter referred to as “the Claimant”) by YHL Trading (KL) Sdn. Bhd. (hereinafter referred to as “the Company”) on 9 January 2019.

[1] The Ministerial reference in this case required the Court to hear and determine th e

Claimant's dismissal by the Company on 31 May 2019 and was received by the Industrial Court on 3 September 2019.

[2] The case was fixed for first mention on 11 October 2019.

[3] On 4 December 2019, the Claimant attended Court and informed that she wished to withdraw her case against the Company.

[4] Accordingly, the case is hereby struck off without liberty to reinstate. The hearing date on 4 February 2020 is vacated.
