ABSTRAK
Dewi Aji Setyo Bangun, 210110110578, 2014. Skripsi ini berjudul Representasi Dugaan Korupsi Tiga Petinggi PKS dalam Sampul Majalah Berita Mingguan Tempo. Pembimbing utama Dr. Hj. Siti Karlinah, M.Si, dan pembimbing pendamping Dr. Hj. Nuryah Asri Syarifah, M.Si. Jurusan Jurnalistik, Fakultas Ilmu Komunikasi, Universitas Padjadjaran, Bandung.
Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif dengan teknik analisis semiotika Roland Barthes. Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk mengetahui makna denotasi, makna konotasi, mitos dan ideologi yang muncul dari karikatur dalam sampul MBM Tempo “HANGUS! Sejumlah Petinggi PKS Terpanggang Perkara Suap Daging Impor.”
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan karikatur tersebut merepresentasikan dugaan keterlibatan tiga petinggi PKS dalam kasus korupsi suap kuota impor daging sapi. Keterlibatan Luthfi Hasan Ishaaq telah terbukti di pengadilan, sedangkan keterlibatan Suswono dan Anis Matta masih dalam penelusuran KPK.
Mitos yang muncul dari karikatur adalah politikus partai berlandaskan agama tak menjamin dirinya bebas dari perilaku koruptif, sedangkan ideologi yang muncul adalah kebebasan pers. MBM Tempo merepresentasikan dugaan keterlibatan tiga petinggi PKS dalam perbuatan koruptif secara berani dan lugas. Tempo tidak gentar akan adanya tuntutan terkait representasi tersebut.
Simpulan yang diperoleh dari penelitian ini adalah Tempo ingin mengungkap keterlibatan para petinggi PKS, selain Luthfi Hasan Ishaaq yang telah terbukti bersalah menerima suap terkait pengurusan kuota impor daging sapi. Petinggi PKS yang ingin diungkap Tempo adalah Menteri Pertanian Suswono, dan Presiden PKS Anis Matta.
Saran yang penulis sampaikan adalah sebaiknya MBM Tempo tetap konsisten mempertahankan pandangan kritis mereka dalam menampilkan sampul khususnya mengenai berita politik.

With the Main Advisor Dr. Hj. Siti Karlinah, M.Si, and Side Advisor Dr. Hj. Nuryah Asri Syarifah, M.Si. of the Journalism Major, Communication Faculty, Universitas Padjadjaran, Bandung.
This research used the qualitative research method with the analytic semiotics technique of Roland Barthes. Purpose of this research is meant to understand the meaning of denotation, connotation, myths and ideology that appeared on the MBM Tempo’s cover caricature “HANGUS! Sejumlah Petinggi PKS Terpanggang Perkara Suap Daging Impor.”
The result of this research shows that the aforementioned caricature represents the alleged involvement of three PKS officials regarding the Import Meat Bribe Case. The involvement of Luthfi Hasan Ishaaq has been proven in court, while Suswono and Anis Matta’s involvements is currently being processed by KPK.
The myths that came from caricatures mentioned that politicians from parties that are based on religions won’t guarantee that they will be free from corruption, whereas the ideology that appeared was the freedom of press. MBM Tempo represented the suspicion of the involvement of three PKS officials in the corruptive act bravely and unadorned. Tempo was unafraid of being sued over the related representation.
The summary obtained from this research is that Tempo wants to reveal the involvement of other PKS officials aside from Luthfi Hasan Ishaaq, who has been prosecuted for accepting bribery regarding the maintenance of quotes regarding imported beef. The PKS Officials Tempo has in mind to reveal are the Minister of Agriculture Suswono and the PKS President Anis Matta.
