KATA PENGANTAR
Kabupaten Blitar Dalam Angka 2020 merupakan publikasi yang menyajikan informasi berbagai indikator pembangunan yang dilaksanakan di daerah, dan sangat bermanfaat bagi birokrat, peneliti, pembuat kebijakan bahkan pihak swasta dalam rangka perencanaan. Penerbitan publikasi Kabupaten Blitar Dalam Angka 2020 adalah tugas pokok Badan Pusat Statistik Kabupaten Blitar.
Publikasi ini menyajikan data primer yang dikumpulkan oleh BPS Kabupaten Blitar dan data sekunder dari instansi pemerintah dan institusi swasta di Kabupaten Blitar yang dapat digunakan untuk mengetahui pencapaian keberhasilan pembangunan yang dilaksanakan oleh pemerintah, swasta dan masyarakat.
Di samping menyajikan tabel-tabel, grafik dan gambar, publikasi ini juga menganalisis secara umum data yang tersedia sebagai suatu bentuk ulasan terhadap pencapaian pembangunan daerah. Namun demikian karena terbatasnya data yang tersedia dari beberapa instansi terkait maka masih terdapat beberapa keterbatasan penyajian informasi terutama dalam ketepatan waktu.
Atas segala bentuk bantuan dan kerjasamanya kami menyampaikan penghargaan setinggi-tingginya serta ucapan terimakasih kepada Dinas/Instansi/

Blitar Regency In Figures 2020 presenting informations about the development in the various area of Blitar; and can be a very beneficial resource for bureaucrat, researcher, policy makers, and the private sector institutions to help them make their future plan. Publication of the book Blitar Regency in Figures 2020 is the main task and under the responsibility of the BPS-Statistics Blitar Regency
This Publication presenting the primary data collected by BPS-Statistics Blitar Regency and the secondary data were taken and submit from government agencies and private sector institution in the Regency of Blitar. The data can be used to know the achievement on a development done by the goverenment, private institutions and society.
Not only containing graphics, tables and pictures, this publication is also contains the analysist of the public data regarding the development achievements in Blitar area. Because of the limitation of the available data colleted from several instutions and parties; hence there are some limitation on the informations especially in the area of time accuracy.

PENJELASAN TEKNIS TECHNICAL NOTES 1. Kecamatan adalah daerah
bagian kabupaten (kota) yang membawahkan beberapa kelurahan, dikepalai oleh seorang camat;
2. Pulau adalah sebidang tanah yang lebih kecil dari benua dan lebih besar dari karang, yang dikelilingi air. Kumpulan beberapa pulau dinamakan pulau-pulau atau kepulauan
3. Curah hujan adalah banyaknya hujan yang tercurah (turun) di suatu daerah dalam jangka waktu tertentu.

ULASAN DESCRIPTION
1. Kabupaten Blitar berada di sebelah Selatan Khatulistiwa, terletak pada 111°40¹-112°10¹ Bujur Timur dan 7°58¹-8°9¹51¹¹ Lintang Selatan.
2. Kabupaten Blitar berada di pesisir Samudra Indonesia dengan batas wilayah sebagai berikut :
• Utara : Kabupaten Kediri,
• Timur : Kabupaten Malang.
• Selatan : Samudera Indonesia.
• Barat : Kabupaten
Tulungagung,
• dan ditengah wilayah Kabupaten Blitar berbatasan dengan Kota Blitar.
3. Luas Kabupaten Blitar adalah 1.588,79 Km2 atau 158.88 Ha, Wilayah kecamatan terluas adalah Kecamatan Wonotirto, dengan luas 164,54 Km2. Sedangkan wilayah kecamatan terkecil adalah Kecamatan Sanankulon yaitu 33,33 Km2.
4. Hamparan wilayah Kabupaten Blitar merupakan daerah dengan ketinggian rata-rata + 100 meter di atas permukaan air laut, dengan distribusi wilayah menurut ketinggian yaitu :
• 36,4 persen kecamatan berada pada ketinggian antara 100 – < 200 meter di atas permukaan air laut;

• North : Kediri Regency,

• South : Indonesian Ocean,
• West : Tulungagung Regency
• and in the middle of Blitar Regency is border with Blitar Municipal.
3. The area of Blitar Regency is 1,588.79 Km2 or 158,88 Ha, The widest subdistrict area is Wonotirto Subdistrict, with an area of 164.54 Km2. Whereas the smallest subdistrict area is Sanankulon Subdistrict which is 33.33 Km2.
4. Blitar Regency covers an area in the average altitude of +100 m above sea level, and the distribution of the area based on the altitude are:
• 36.4 percent of the districts are at an altitude between 100 - <200 meters above sea level;

Wilayah Kecamatan Wates berada pada ketinggian tertinggi diantara 22 kecamatan yang ada di Kabupaten Blitar, yaitu + 420 meter di atas permukaan air laut.
