ABSTRACT
The purpose of this study was to identify / determine the style of interior design that is applied to the Tip Top Restaurant in Medan as well as the public perception of the interior arrangement of Tip Top Restaurant in Medan by using qualitative and quantitative research methods. Qualitative research methods now that the observation / observation, observation of interior elements Tip Top restaurant is analyzed based on the criteria of interior design, this is done in order to identify the style of interior design that is applied to the Tip Top Restaurant in Medan. While quantitative research methods, namely through a survey using instruments such as questionnaires, data obtained from the results of the questionnaire were analyzed by using frequency, this is done in order to determine how perceptions of visitors to the interior arrangement of Tip Top Restaurant in Medan. There are several benefits of this study, first, it increases knowledge about the elements of the interior in a restaurant in the city of Medan, second, it identifies the interior style used in Tip Top Restaurant, and third, it helps to identify the customers's satisfaction on the interior elements applied in Tip Top Restaurant. From the results of this study concluded that Tip Top Restaurant using Rustic interior style and Elegant Country interior style while the results of research on the level of satisfaction of respondents to the interior elements of Tip Top Restaurant can be concluded that most of the visitors were satisfied with the interior of Tip Top Restaurant.
