ABSTRAK
Infeksi Menular Seksual (IMS) merupakan infeksi yang sebagian besar menular lewat hubungan seksual dengan pasangan yang sudah tertular dan dapat juga dengan kontak non seksual. Kelompok remaja dan dewasa muda (15 - 24 tahun) adalah kelompok umur yang memiliki risiko paling tinggi untuk tertular IMS dan rentan memiliki perilaku seks bebas dan pengguna zat tropika berbahaya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan pengetahuan remaja mengenai Infeksi Menular Seksual (IMS) dengan perilaku seks bebas di SMA Swasta Darussalam Medan. Desain yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah deskriptif korelasi. Alat pengumpulan data adalah kuesioner. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan Proportional Stratified Random Sampling dan jumlah sampel 126 orang. Analisis data menggunakan uji statistik Spearman. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa mayoritas remaja memiliki pengetahuan yang baik mengenai IMS yaitu sebanyak 98 orang (77,8%) dan mayoritas remaja tidak melakukan perilaku seks bebas sebanyak 102 orang (80,9%), Hasil penelitian dengan menggunakan uji statistik Spearman didapatkan nilai pValue = 0,000 dan nilai r = -0,541. Hasil ini menunjukkan bahwa adanya hubungan yang signifikan antara pengetahuan remaja mengenai IMS dengan perilaku seks bebas dengan tingkat hubungan sedang yang artinya selain pengetahuan mengenai IMS, terdapat faktor pendukung lainnya yang berhubungan dengan perilaku seks bebas remaja dan berpola negatif artinya semakin baik pengetahuan maka semakin sedikit remaja yang melakukan perilaku seks bebas.

Sexually transmitted infection (STI) is the most contagious infection through sexual intercourse with a partner who is already contracting and can also contact with non sexual. A group of teenagers and young adults (15-24 years) are the age groups that have the highest risk for contracting an STI and vulnerable have free sex and behavior of users of substances harmful to tropical. The objective of the research was to find out the correlation between teenagers knowledge of Sexually Transmitted Infections (STI) and the behavior of free sex at SMA Swasta Darussalam Medan. The research used descriptive correlation method. Data gathering tool was a questionnaire. Sampling techniques using Proportional Stratified Random Sampling and the samples were 126 respondents. Data were analyzed by using Spearman Statistical test. The results showed that the majority of teens have a good knowledge about STI as much as 98 people (77,8%) and the majority of teens don't do free sex behavior as much as 102 people (80.9%). The result of the research using Spearman Statistical test showed that pValue = 0.000 and r = -0.541 which indicate that there was significant correlation between teenagers knowledge of Sexually Transmitted Infections (STI) and the behavior of free sex with the level of medium correlation that means in addition to knowledge about IMS, there were other supporting factors associated with teenage free sex behavior and negative meaning patterned the better knowledge than the fewer teens who do free sex behavior.
