MEA need competence adalah bentuk integrasi ekonomi ASEAN dalam artian adanya system perdagaangan bebas antara Negara-negara asean. Indonesia dan sembilan negara anggota ASEAN lainnya telah menyepakati perjanjian Masyarakat Ekonomi ASEAN (MEA) atau ASEAN Economic Community (AEC).
