This is ex act ly t he sam e populat ion t hat w as surv eyed dur ing w int er / spr ing 2004 by t he Nat ional Mult i- Sect or ial Assessm ent for Kuchi ( NAMAK) , I t he k uchi t hat is st ill nom adic and t hose t hat hav e r ecent ly set t led since t he onset of t he last drought per iod. This r em ains t he best est im at e of t he curr ent k uchi populat ion.
