audited financial and operational results for full year 2011.
Following a double digit growth figure recorded in 2010, Sampoerna Agro successfully booked 17.5%
year-on-year yo

output at year-end 2011 with volumes
reaching 1.61 million tons versus 1.37 million tons recorded in 2010. The output figure consisted of FFB
production from its nucleus estates as well as FFB purchased from third parties which were mostly from
its plasma farmers under guidance.

even higher at 19.3%. This is due to higher extraction rates obtained
in 2011 versus the previous year. As a result, CPO output rose from 288,885 tons in 2010 to 344,675
tons in 2011. CPO continued to be a major contributor by contributing 83.6% to the Company revenue.

The Company booked Rp3.14 trillion as revenue for 2011, or 35.9% higher than the figure in 2010 which
amounted Rp2.31 trillion. The increase was largely attributable to higher sales volume, at the back of
greater output, among the Company key products such as CPO that increased by 22.1%, while PK rose
15.4%, and seeds escalated 37%. By year end 2011, the Company managed to book net profit totalling
Rp540.94 billion.
Latest update on the Company sago business is that our sago starch product, through its brand name
Prima Starch, passed food safety test by
Bada Pe gawas O at da Maka a BPOM
on 15 February
2012, thus can be considered as food grade. With its enhanced quality properties, Prima Starch is
valued as a premium starch product and differentiated among the regular starch product in the market.
At present, the Company is implementing selective selling strategy due to low output volume being
processed at the factory. On the marketing side, National Sago Prima recently managed to secure a deal
with a buyer from Japan that purchased more than 200 ton of starch.
