PT Usaha Agro Indonesia, a subsidiary of SGRO, has obtained a new location permit (izin lokasi) of 11,300
ha in Ketapang, Central Kalimantan. It makes total landbank of SGRO Group become 103,738 ha

MOU was signed on 28 November 2007 between Sampoerna Agri Resources ("SAR", the majority
shareholder of SGRO, formerly known as Venture Max Resources Pte Ltd) and PT Bosowa Agro Industri
("BAI"). It was signed with the aim of exploring some potential agribusiness opportunities together through
synergy which may be created between SAR and BAI. Selected potential areas in Sulawesi have been
identified and thorough due diligence will be conducted shortly. However, there is neither investment
commitment nor shareholding structure has been decided/agreed
