VI. Materi Pembelajaran.

Short Functional Text Pengertiaan:

Suatu teks (bacaan) pendek yang mempunyai makna dan fungsi tertentu yang biasa digunakan dalam kehidupan sehari-hari.

Contohnya:

a. Announcement (pengumuman): pernyataan penting atau resmi yang

memberikan sebuah informasi orang-orang tentang sesuatu.

b. Advertisement (iklan): pernyataan penting atau resmi yang memberikan sebuah informasi orang-orang tentang sesuatu.

c. Letter ( surat ) Merupakan sarana kemonikasi tertulis yang di tulis suatu pihak kepada pihak lain yang biasanya di kirimkan melalui kantor pos.

Macam-macam surat:

a). Surat Pribadi ( Personal letter )

Surat yang di kirim seseorang kepada orang lain atau suatu organisasi/ instansi isi yang di muat dalam surat pribadi biasayang bersifat informasi Contoh : Surat Undangan makan malam untuk rekan bisnis

B). Surat Bisnis ( Business Letter )

Surat yang di tujukan untuk kegiatan - kegiatan yang di tujukan untuk kegiatan yang berkaitan dengan bisnis, atau pekerjaan. Surat di gunakan sebagai alat korespondensi antara organisasi atau suatu perusahaan dengan klien atau rekan kerja. Surat ini tergolong surat fornal yang harus

mengikuti peraturan atau format yang telah di tentukan. Contohnya : surat complain, surat penjualan, surat pembelian.

Business Format:

A. Letterhead : Kop Surat (identitas perusahaan yg berisi logo, nama, alamat & telepon dari pengirim surat)

B. Date : when the letter is written (tgl/bln/thn) C. Recipient address: Penerima Surat

D. Reference line: alternative untuk menempatan penerima surat.

E. Salutation & name: greeting and the person’s name you are writing to (salam pembuka) F. Body : the main part of the letter. It includes

what you want to write to other person (isi surat)

G. Closure : the part indicates the letter is going to end (Salam penutup)

H. Signature and title: signature or initials of the writer (tanda tangan dan jabatan)

berdasarkan business letter format.
