STUDENT’S PERCEPTION ON TEACHER FEEDBACK IN MICRO TEACHING

Abstract
This study was aimed to find out student’s perception toward teacher feedback in Micro Teaching Class (MTC). This study was conducted in the study of English Language Teaching Department, Satya Wacana Christian University, Salatiga. It used qualitative analysis method and the subject of this study were ELTD student who already taken MTC last semester (Semester II/2012-2013) in the Faculty of Language and Literature. The data were collected by doing interview to fifteen students. The analysis of the data based five initial themes about student’s perception toward teacher feedback in MTC. The first is about definition toward teacher feedback in MTC. The second part is about student preference toward feedback given by teacher. The third is student feeling when got feedback from the teacher. The fourth is advantages and disadvantages that the students get from teacher feedbacks. The last is about their suggestion toward teacher feedback in MTC. After I conducted this research I found that most of the participant agreed that teacher feedback were important.
