for His grace and blessing that this study could finally be completed on time.
I am indebted to Ni Ketut Alit Ida Setianingsih, S.S., M.Hum. as my first

process of writing this paper.

ABSTRACT
The title of this study is “The Main Character of Maleficent in the Maleficent
Movie Based on Psychological Aspect”
. The aim of this paper is to analyze the main
character in the movie based on conflict and psychological aspect. Psychology is the
study of basic elements and process of human behavior. Psychological aspect
emphasizes on behavior of human being while personality includes feeling, emotion,
thought, and desire.
The source of the data in this study was taken from
Maleficent Movie
(2014).
The data was collected by documentation method and note taking for which the data
was taken from note taking. The method and technique of analyzing data determinded
the main character from clasify the main character from the intrinsic element such as
conflict and psychological aspect. The data was collected by watching the movie and
note taking from the main character to finding out the characteristic in the scenes.
The results show that from the theories used for psychological aspect, all of
five aspects were found. And each aspect was related for the main character progress
in the story. While for the conflict, there are two kinds of conflicts found. External
conflict and Internal conflict.
