1. Sterilizer
Tandan buah segar (TBS) dari lori dimasukkan ke dalam rebusan atau sterilizer. Dalam sterilizer TBS direbus untuk peroses sterilisasi sebelum diproses menjadi minyak. Temperatur perebusan 1250C – 1350C, lama perebusan 82-90 menit. Kebutuhan steam 27,26%, exause steam 4,75% dan kondensat yang dibuang 34,51% sedangkan TBS yang masak 88% dari jumlah umpan yang direbus (PT. Asian Agree, 2006).

2. Stripping
TBS masak dari sterilizer diumpankan ke stripper drum untuk merontokkan buah dari tandannya dengan cara bantingan akibat dari putaran drum. Putaran stripper drum 33,95 rpm. Persentase tandan kosong 31,82% dan grondolan buah kelapa sawit 68,18% (PT. Asian Agree, 2006).

5.Countinous Settling Tank (CST)
Minyak kasar dari pressan dialirkan ke Continous Settling Tank, pada alat ini kotoran lumpur (Sludge) dipisahkan dari minyak berdasarkan gaya berat (gravitasi). Persentase minyak dan lumpur yang dipisahkan 41,26% dan 58,74% dan diperkirakan minyak yang diumpankan balik dari Sludge separator 21,18% dari jumlah minyak yang dipisahkan.
