Abstract

T h e p u r p o s e o f th is s t u d y is to e x a m in e th e in fo r m a tio n s y s te m (IS ) s u c c e s s o f th e a c c o u n t i n g s o ftw a r e b a s e d o n th e u s e r p e r c e p tio n . T h e m o d e l u s e d to e x a m in e th e I S s u c c e s s is th e m o d i f i e d I S s u c c e s s m o d e l o f S e d d o n (1 9 9 7 ). T h e m o d e l e m p lo y e d in th is s t u d y is a p p l i e d o n d a ta c o l l e c t e d th r o u g h 2 0 4 q u e s ti o n n a ir e s d i s t r i b u t e d to th e u s e r s o f a c c o u n ti n g s o ftw a r e w h o w o r k a t th e v a r i e t y o f c o m p a n ie s in In d o n e s ia . I n e x a m i n i n g th e m o d e l, w e e m p lo y th e S tr u c t u r a l E q u a t io n M o d e l ( S E M ) w ith th e u s e o f L I S R E L 8 .7 2 sojH >are. T h e r e s u lts o f th e s t u d y s h o w th a t s y s te m q u a lity s i g n ific a n tly a f fe c ts th e p e r c e i v e d u s e fu ln e s s a n d th e u s e r s a tis fa c tio n . F u r th e r m o r e , th e r e s u lts s h o w th a t in fo r m c \tio n q u a l i t y s ig n ific a n tly a ffe c ts th e p e r c e i v e d u s e fu ln e s s a n d u s e r s a tis fa c tio n .
