Jantares Ghofur Andro Meda. 2014. Teaching Vocabulary Using

Picture For The Second Grade Students in SD Negeri Ngebung 1

Kalijambe . English Diploma Program, Faculty of Letters and Fine

Arts, Sebelas Maret University.

This final project report is written based on the job training experience which has been done for three weeks in SD Negeri Ngebung 1 Kalijambe. The objectives of this report are to describe the process of teaching vocabulary using picture for second grade students in SD Negeri Ngebung 1 Kalijambe, to find out problem and to recommend solutions in process of teaching vocabulary using picture in SD Negeri Ngebung 1 Kalijambe.

In English teaching and learning process in SD Negeri Ngebung 1 Kalijambe, I gave material by drilling them. First, I began the class by warming up then I delivered the material by asking the previous material first in order to test the students’s memory. I used picture method during the teaching process because by showing it, students could develop their imagination widely. To know the students’s understanding to the material, I gave some exercises or asked them to do the exercises in their workbook.
