Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi perkuliahan microteaching pada Program Studi Pendidikan Kimia, Fakultas Matematika dan Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam, Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta (FMIPA-UNY) yang meliputi (1) mengkaji perencanaan perkuliahan yang telah dibuat oleh dosen, (2) mengkaji pelaksanaan perkuliahan, dan (3) mengkaji penilaian yang dosen lakukan terhadap mahasiswa menuju pencapaian indikator KKNI Level 6 pendidikan kimia.
Penelitian ini termasuk jenis penelitian evaluasi yang difokuskan pada perencanaan, pelaksanaan, dan penilaian perkuliahan microteaching di Prodi Pendidikan Kimia FMIPA-UNY. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada bulan Februari 2014 sampai Februari 2015. Subjek penelitian ini adalah 20 mahasiswa semester 6 dan tiga orang dosen pengampu microteaching. Objek penelitian adalah mata kuliah microteaching. Data penelitian diperoleh melalui angket dosen dan mahasiswa, observasi dosen dan mahasiswa, studi dokumentasi dosen dan mahasiswa, serta wawancara dosen dan mahasiswa. Keabsahan data dilakukan dengan teknik triangulasi. Data yang terkumpul melalui dokumentasi, angket, dan observasi dianalisis dengan teknik deskriptif kuantitatif, dan yang terkumpul melalui wawancara dan catatan observasi dianalisis dengan teknik deskriptif kualitatif.
Hasil penelitian adalah sebagai berikut. (1) Ketercapaian perencanaan pembelajaran mikro FMIPA-UNY menuju pencapaian indikator KKNI Level 6 oleh dosen sebesar 53,33%, termasuk dalam kategori cukup baik. Secara umum perencanaan microteaching cukup baik dan telah berorientasi pada pencapaian indikator KKNI Level 6. (2) Pelaksanaan microteaching di FMIPA-UNY menuju pencapaian indikator KKNI Level 6 dilihat melalui pelaksanaan pembelajaran mahasiswa menuju pencapaian indikator KKNI sebesar 40,86%, termasuk dalam kategori cukup baik dan peran serta dosen terhadap pencapaian kemampuan mahasiswa menuju pencapaian indikator KKNI Level 6 sebesar 56,43%, termasuk dalam kategori cukup baik. (3) Pelaksanaan penilaian microteaching oleh dosen terhadap mahasiswa FMIPA-UNY menuju pencapaian indikator KKNI Level 6 sebesar 79,36%, termasuk dalam kategori baik.

This research aims to evaluate of microteaching lectures at Chemistry Education Department, Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Science, Yogyakarta State University (FMNS-YSU) which includes assessing (1) the planning of the lesson by the lecturers, (2) the implementation of the lecture, and (3) the assessment done by the lecturers for the achievement of IQF Indicator Level 6 in chemistry education.
This research was an evaluation study that focused on the planning, implementation, and assessment of microteaching lectures at FMNS-YSU. This research was conducted at FMNS-YSU from February 2014 to Februari 2015. The subjects were 20 students of the 6th semester and three lecturers in chemistry education. The research object was microteaching subject. The data were obtained through lecturers’ and students’ questionnaires, lecturers’ and students’ observation, lecturers’ and students’ documentation studies, as well as interviews with the lecturers and students. The validity of the data was measured through triangulation. The data collected through the documentation, questionnaires, and observations were analyzed using the quantitative descriptive technique, and those collected through interviews and observation records were analyzed using the descriptive qualitative techniques.
The results of the research are as follows. (1) The accomplishment of the planning of microteaching lecture at FMNS-YSU for the achievement of IQF Indicator Level 6 in chemistry education is 53.33%, categorized as sufficient. In general the planning of the microteaching lecture is sufficient and has been oriented for the achievement of IQF Indicator Level 6 in chemistry education. (2) The implementation of microteaching lecture at FMNS-YSU for the achievement of IQF Indicator Level 6 in chemistry education viewed from the achievement of the students’ ability to KKNI Level 6 is 40.86%, categorized as sufficient and the role of the lecturers in the students’ ability for the achievement of IQF Indicator Level 6 is 56.43%, categorized as sufficient. (3) The implementation of microteaching lecture assessment by the lecturers at FMNS-YSU for the achievement of IQF Indicator Level 6 chemistry education is 72.73%, categorized as good.
