PENGARUH WAKTU PASCA THAWING TERHADAP KUALITAS SEMEN BEKU SAPI PERAH FH DALAM SATU JALUR DISTRIBUSI

ABSTRACT
Penelitian mengenai “Pengaruh Waktu Pasca Thawing Terhadap Kualitas Semen Beku Sapi Perah FH Dalam Satu Jalur Distribusi” dilaksanakan pada bulan Oktober 2013 di Fakultas Peternakan, Universitas Padjadjaran, Kabupaten Sumedang. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui sejauhmana pengaruh perbedaan waktu pasca thawing terhadap kualitas semen beku sapi perah di jalur distribusi BIB Lembang, GKSI Gedebage, Pos IB Ujung Berung, dan Inseminator. Penelitian menggunakan metode eksperimental dengan Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK). Terdapat empat jenis kelompok perlakuan yaitu P1: BIB; P2: GKSI; P3: Pos IB; P4: Inseminator, dengan empat waktu pasca thawing yaitu 0 menit, 5 menit, 10 menit, dan 15 menit. Hasil analisis statistik menunjukkan bahwa waktu pasca thawing berpengaruh sama terhadap motilitas spermatozoa di semua kelompok perlakuan. Tingkat motilitas terbaik berada pada kelompok tempat BIB Lembang dengan tingkat motilitas sebesar 71,51 % pada waktu pasca thawing 5 menit. Hasil analisis statistik menunjukkan waktu pasca thawing memberikan pengaruh yang sama terhadap abnormalitas pada kelompok waktu pasca thawing 0 dan 5 menit yaitu sebesar 15,37% and 16%, namun berbeda dengan kelompok waktu 10 dan 15 menit pasca thawing yaitu sebesar 17,5% and 18,12%.

ABSTRACT
A Research on "The Effect of Post Thawing Time to the Quality of FH Frozen Semen in One Direction of Distribution" was held in October 2013, at the Faculty of Animal Husbandry, Padjadjaran University, Sumedang. This study was aimed to determine effect of time differentiation of the post thawing on the quality of FH frozen semen in one direction distribution from BIB Lembang, GKSI Gedebage, AI Station Ujung Berung, and Inseminator. This study used an experimental method with randomized block design (RBD). There were four types of treatment groups ( P1 : BIB ; P2 : GKSI ; P3 : AI Station; and P4 : Inseminator ) with 4 post thawing time : 0 minutes , 5 minutes , 10 minutes , and 15 minutes. Statistical analysis showed that post thawing time have the same effect to the sperma motility in all groups treated. Best motility placed in BIB Lembang Station group with motility percentage 71,51 % at 5 minutes post thawing time. Statistical analysis showed that post thawing time gave the same effect on the abnormalities in 0 and 5 minutes group with each abnormalities sperm percentage was 15,37% and 16%, but post thawing time gave a different effects abnormalities in 10 and 15 minutes group with each abnormalities percentage was 17,5% and 18,12%.
