State Math Contest 2013: Solutions and Summary of Results

The table below contains the correct response for each of the 30 questions on the Junior (grades 7, 8 and 9) and Senior (grades 10, 11 and 12) State Math Contest 2013. The same

solution key applies to both tests.

Due to typesetting problems, there were multiple correct responses to a few questions. On the Junior test: question 24 – both D and E were duplicated correct answers; question 26 – both A and D were duplicated correct answers. On the Senior test: question 12 – both C and D were duplicated correct answers. If a student had EITHER or BOTH correct responses bubbled on his/her Scantron, the student received the full score of +4. Otherwise, the score was 0 if the response was blank, and -1 if any incorrect response was bubbled.
