Untuk mengetahui pergeseran struktur, sektor dan komoditi unggulan daerah K abupaten Mamuju diperlukan suatu metode yang berguna untuk mengkaji dan memproyeksikan pertumbuhan ekonomi wilayah. Untuk selanjutnya dapat digunakan sebagai pedoman untuk menentukan tindakan-tindakan apa yang harus diambil guna mempercepat laju pertumbuhan yang ada.Untuk menjawab permasalahan, maka digunakan beberapa metode analisis data, yaitu: 1). A nalisis S hift Share digunakan untuk mengetahui perubahan dan pergeseran
struktur perekonomian wilayah K abupaten Mamuju. 2). A nalisis L ocation Quotient (L Q) digunakan untuk menentukan sektor basis dan non basis dalam perekonomian wilayah K abupaten Mamuju.D ata yang digunakan adalah data sekunder berupa nilai Produk D omestik R egional B ruto (PD R B ) Provinsi S ulawesi B arat dan K abupaten Mamuju atas dasar harga konstan dari tahun 2004-2009.Hasil penelitian berdasarkan analisis S hift Share menunjukkan bahwa telah terjadi perubahan struktur ekonomi di K abupaten Mamuju dari sektor primer ke sektor sekunder. Hal ini ditunjukkan dengan peranan sektor sekunder yang terus meningkat melalui besarnya kontribusi terhadap PD R B K abupaten Mamuju. analisis K lassen Typology dan L ocation Quotient menunjukkan yang merupakan sektor unggulan dengan kriteria tergolong ke dalam sektor yang maju dan tumbuh dengan pesat, dan merupakan sektor basis yaitu sektor sektor sektor pertanian, sektor pertambangan, sektor bangunan, sektor perdagangan, hotel dan restoran, sektor keuangan dan persewaan dan sektor jasa-jasa. K omoditi-komoditi pertanian yang merupakan sektor basis dan dapat diunggulkan untuk dikembangkan pada perekonomian K abupaten Mamuju dapat dijumpai pada komoditi bahan tanaman pangan yaitu padi, jagung, kacang tanah, dan kacang kedelai. K omoditi tanaman buah-buahan dijumpai pada
komoditi tanaman mangga, jeruk manis, dan durian. K omoditi tanaman perkebunan dijumpai pada komoditi tanaman kelapa sawit dan kakao. K omoditi peternakan dijumpai pada komoditi ternak besar sapi dan kerbau, ternak kecil babi serta unggas ayam buras.

To find a shift in the structure, sector and regional commodity Mamuju we need a method that is useful for assessing and projecting the region's economic growth. Method can be used as a guideline to boost the current economic growth.Solution for the problem formulation in this research was analyzed using : 1). Shift Share analysis is used to determine changes and shifts in the structure economic Mamuju 2) . Analysis of L ocation Quotient (L Q) is used to determine the basis and non base sector in the economy Mamuju. T he data used are secondary data in the form of the Regional Gross D omestic Product ( GD P) of West Sulawesi
province and Mamuju at constant prices from the year 2004-2009.T he results based on the Shift Share analysis shows that there have been changes in the economic structure of Mamuju primary sector to
secondary sector. T his is exemplified by the role of the secondary sector which continued to increase through the contribution to Regional Gross D omestic Product (G D P) Mamuju. K lassen analysis Typology and
L ocation Quotient indicates that the sectors with the criteria that belong to the sector forward and grow

exponentially, and the base of the sector is the sector of agriculture, mining and quarrying, construction sector, trade, restaurants and hotel, transportation and communication sector, finance and leasing services sector and services sector. Agricultural commodities is a sector basis and can be seeded to be developed on the economy Mamuju material can be found in commodity crops, namely rice, corn, peanuts, and soybeans. C ommodity crops of fruits found in commodity crops mangoes, sweet oranges, and durian. C ommodities found in commodity crops of C oconut palm plantations and cocoa. And cattle, buffalo, pigs, chickens for livestock.
