Dalam era globalisasi dewasa ini dituntut terwujudnya aktivitas yang lebih konsepsional, efesien dan efektif, agar setiap peluang pengembangan dapat dimanfaatkan dengan sebaik-baiknya guna tercapainya kemajuan dalam berbagai bidang untuk kesejahteraan rakyat yang semakin meningkat dan berkeadilan. Untuk itu dibutuhkan tersedianya data dan informasi yang akurat yang dapat dimanfaatkan oleh berbagai pihak, baik kalangan aparatur pemerintah maupun dunia usaha dan masyarakat pada umunya, khususnya bagi perencana, pelaksana dan pengawasan pembangunan.

Sehubungan dengan hal tersebut, maka Buku Maros Dalam Angka 2013 yang diterbitkan oleh Badan Pusat Statistik (BPS) Kabupaten Maros bekerja sama dengan BAPPEDA Kabupaten Maros, patut dihargai dan disambut dengan antusias.

PREFACE

In today's era of globalization demands the realization of a more conceptual activity, efficiently and effectively, so that any development opportunities can be exploited in the best possible order to achieve progress in various fields for increasing welfare and justice. That requires the availability of accurate data and information which can be utilized by various parties, both among government officials and the business world and society in general, especially for planners, implementers and construction supervision.

In this regard, the book Maros in Figures 2013 published by the Central Statistics Board (BPS) in collaboration with BAPPEDA Maros Maros Regency, rewarded and celebrated.

It is hoped that the book would contain statistical data can be best utilized and truly serve as the primary data sources for various purposes in the district of Maros. Thank you.

Buku Maros Dalam Angka 2013 ini merupakan kumpulan data statistik yang setiap tahun diterbitkan oleh Badan Pusat Statistik (BPS) Kabupaten Maros, bekerjasama dengan Pemerintah Daerah.

Data dan informasi yang disajikan ini, bersumber dari, Instansi, Dinas, Lembaga Pemerintah dan Swasta dalam wilayah Kabupaten Maros. Masih dirasakan bahwa data yang tersaji dalam buku ini masih belum lengkap, maka untuk memperbaiki dan meningkatkan mutu data, diharapkan adanya partisipasi dari Instansi, Dinas, Lembaga Pemerintah dan Swasta dengan Badan Pusat Statistik (BPS) Kabupaten Maros, agar kesempurnaan serta kelancaran penerbitan Buku Maros Dalam Angka pada tahun-tahun mendatang dapat senantiasa terjamin dan terselenggara dengan baik.

Books Maros in Figures 2013 is an annual statistical publication issued by the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) Maros Regency. The success of these publications on time thanks to the support and good cooperation from all parties, for that we thank you especially to local government.

The data presented in this book are derived from various sources, both primary data, such as censuses and surveys conducted by the Central Bureau of Statistics, as well as secondary data from various agencies, the Office, Bureau, in Maros Regency.

Publication 2013 Maros in Figures gradually refined both the look and quality, however it will greatly depend on the availability of data enter the respective offices and agencies as a source of data. To all who assisted in the successful publication of this book, especially the Maros regency administration, we say thank you.

Kabupaten Maros terletak di bagian barat Sulawesi Selatan antara 40º45’-50º07’ Lintang Selatan dan 109º205’-129º12’ Bujur Timur yang berbatasan dengan Kabupaten Pangkep sebelah Utara, Kota Makassar dan Kabupaten Gowa sebelah Selatan, Kabupaten Bone disebelah Timur dan Selat Makassar disebelah Barat. Luas wilayah Kabupaten Maros 1.619,12 km² yang secara administrasi pemerintahnya terdiri 14 Kecamatan dan 103 Desa/ Kelurahan.

Berdasarkan pencatatan Badan Stasiun Meteorologi, Klimatologi dan Geofisika (BMKG) rata-rata Suhu udara bulanan di Kabupaten Maros adalah 26,9°C tiap bulannya. Suhu bulanan paling rendah adalah 22,4°C (terjadi pada bulan Agustus 2012) sedangkan paling tinggi adalah 33,4°C (terjadi pada bulan Oktober 2012).

Iklim Kabupaten Maros tergolong iklim tropis basah dengan curah hujan rata-rata sekitar 237 mm setiap bulannya, dengan jumlah hari hujan berkisar 187 hari selama Tahun 2012, dengan rata suhu udara minimum 23,9°C dan rata-rata suhu udara maksimum 31,4°C.

Maros Regency is located in the western part of South Sulawesi between 40º45´-50º 07´ South Latitude and 109º205´-129º 12´ East longitude, which borders northern Pangkep District, Makassar and Gowa south, eastward of Bone and Makassar Strait next to the West. The total area of 1619.12 km Maros regency that the administration of its government into 14 district and 103 Villages/ Kelurahan.

Based on agency records Statsiun Meterologi, Klimatologi dan Geofisika (BMKG), average monthly air temperature in Maros Regency is 26,9º C each month. Condition average monthly temperature is lowest at a temperature of 22,40º C (in Agustus 2012) while the highest at a temperature of 33,4ºC (occurring in October 2012).

Climate Maros relatively wet tropical climate with an average rainfall of about 237 mm per month, with the number of rainy days ranges from 187 days during the year 2012, with an average minimum air temperature of 23,9º C and average maximum air temperature of 31,40_C.

Penyinaran matahari selama tahun 2011 rata-rata berkisar 67%. Secara geografis daerah ini terdiri dari 10% (10 desa) adalah pantai, 5% (5 desa) adalah kawasan lembah, 27% (28 desa) adalah lereng/ bukit dan 58% (60 desa) adalah dataran.

2.1 PEMERINTAHAN

Sejak

diberlakukannya

Otonomi

Daerah pada tahun 2001, jumlah

Kecamatan di Kabupaten Maros tidak

mengalami

perubahan

karena

pemekaran. Jumlah Kecamatan di

Kabupaten Maros sebanyak 14 yang

terdiri dari 80 Desa dan 23 Kelurahan

(103 Desa/ Kelurahan).

Dari 14 kecamatan tersebut terdapat

89 lingkungan dan 320 dusun. Menurut

klasifikasi

desa/kelurahan,

masih

terdapat 22 desa/kelurahan swadaya

dan 22 desa/kelurahan swakarya,

sedangkan sisanya sebanyak 59 yang

sudah swasembada.

Terdapat 35 orang anggota DPRD di

lingkup Pemerintah Daerah Kabupaten

Maros yang terdiri dari 29 laki-laki dan 6

perempuan.

2.2 KEPEGAWAIAN

Jumlah Pegawai Negeri Sipil di

lingkup Pemerintah Daerah Kabupaten

Maros pada tahun 2012 sebanyak 7.194

orang. Dari jumlah tersebut 3.304 orang

adalah pegawai laki-laki dan 3.890

orang adalah pegawai perempuan.

2.1 GOVERNANCE

in 2001, the number of sub-districts in

Maros regency has not changed since

the expansion. Number of District in

Maros regency as many as 14 that

consists of 80 villages and 23 Urban

Village (103 Village /Kelurahan).

Of the 14 districts there were 89

environmental and 320 hamlets.

According to the classification of rural /

urban villages, there are still 22

villages / village self-help and 22

villages / village self-employment,

while the remaining 59 who had

self-sufficiency.

There are 35 members of

parliament in the scope of the Local

Government Maros regency consisting
