PENERAPAN MODEL COMPUTER ASSISTED LEARNING ( CAL ) UNTUK MENINGKATKAN KEMAMPUAN KOGNTIF SISWA PADA MATA PELAJARAN
PERALATAN MULTIMEDIA

Abstract
The purpose of this study was to investigate students' cognitive intelligence through Computer Assisted Learning model (Video Tutorial) in subject Multimedia theme Maintaning Multimedia Equipments. This research was done through analysing the class behavior using pre-test and post-test research. The participants of this study were students of grade X Multimedia at SMA Kristen Salatiga. The research instruments were designed systematically in the form of multiple choice questions, where those questions had different level of difficulties based on students' cognitive level. Data were analysed qualitatively through students' test result to measure the comparison of pre-test and post-test result where the minimum score (Kriteria Ketuntasan Minimal or KKM) in this subject was 75. The result of the study showed that there was an improvement on students' cognitive intelligence. The average score on pre-test was 45% passed and 55% failed. However, after applying the Computer Assisted Learning model (Video Tutorial) on the post-test, the average became 90% passed and 10% were on the minimum score level (KKM).

Abstrak
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan pengetahuan kognitif siswa dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran Computer Assited Learning ( Video Tutorial ) pada mata pelajaran multimedia materi merawat peralatan multimedia. Untuk mencapai tujuan tersebut
dilakukan penelitian tindakan kelas dengan desain penelitian Pretes – Postest. Subjek penelitian
adalah siswa kelas X multimedia SMK Kristen Salatiga. Instrumen penelitian di susun secara sistemastis yang terdiri dari soal-soal pilihan ganda, dimana soal-soal tersebut memiliki tingkat kesulitan yang berbeda dan sesuai dengan tingkatan ranah kognitif siswa. Data dianalisis secara kualitatif pada hasil tes siswa, diukur perbandingan hasil pretest dan hasil postest dimana KKM di mata pelajaran tersebut adalah 75. Hasil penelitian adalah adanya peningkatan pengetahuan kognitif siswa, dari rata-rata pengetahuan kognitif siswa saat pretest 45% tuntas dan 55% tidak
tuntas dan hasil rata-rata setelah melakukan penerapan Computer Assited Learning ( video Tuoturial ) saat postest 90% tuntas dan 10 sama dengan KKM
