i ABSTRAK
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi dan menjadi penentu daya saing ekonomi Kota Sibolga 2015 dengan menggunakan metode Analisis Hierarki Proses (AHP). Dengan menggunakan metode purposive sampling, penelitian ini menggunakan data primer dengan kuisioner dan wawancara terhadap 30 responden yang terdiri dari DPRD, staf pengajar/dosen, masyarakat umum, birokrat, perbankan, non-perbankan, pengusaha.
Dengan hasil penelitian faktor yang paling penting dalam pembentukan daya saing ekonomi kota Sibolga yaitu faktor infrastruktur dengan bobot nilai sebesar 0,328 diikuti oleh faktor perekonomian daerah dengan bobot nilai 0.268, berikutnya faktor tenaga kerja dan produktivitas dengan bobot 0.203 dan faktor social politik dengan bobot nilai 0.101, terakhir faktor kelembagaan dengan bobot nilai 0.099.
ii ABSTRACT
This study aimed to analyze the factors that affect and be the determinant of economic competitiveness Sibolga 2015 by using the Analysis Hierarchy Process ( AHP ) method. By using purposive sampling method, this study uses primary data with questionnaires and interviews with 30 respondents consisting of the Parliament, teachers, community, bureaucrats, banks, non – banks, and entrepreneurs.
Results of research that the most important in the formation of the economic competitiveness of Sibolga is the infrastructure factor with weight 0.328. Followed by regional economic factors with weight 0.268. The next factor of labor and productivity with weights 0.203, social and politic with weights 0,101, the last institutional factors with weights 0.099.
