The researcher gives further interpretation and discussion as follows :
1. Online media used by teacher in learning English a. Google classroom
Google classroom is a visual media used by teachers in teaching during the online learning process. This learning media has several advantages including being very mobile friendly for beginners, meaning that people who are using Google classroom for the first time will definitely have no difficulty operating it, and the most important thing is that of the most applications that we can download for free, you will find the application. Google classroom is available for free either on the playstore or the app store. Google classroom itself emphasizes that this application is 100% free without having to pay before you can use it.
Google classroom allows students to interact directly with learning material. They can understand the material through the file or video link that has been sent by the teacher, usually the teacher provides the material first. Then give assignments related to the material that has been given previously and the teacher also gives a time limit for doing the assignments given. Even in Google classroom, the teacher can see the delay of students in submitting assignments, therefore during online learning the teacher uses Google classroom more often than other applications to deliver learning material and to assign assignments.
The results of Chandrawati's (2010) research show that teachers are expected to be able to present material through the web that is attractive and of interest, serve guidance and communication via the internet, and other necessary skills. The results of research by Hikmatar et al. (2020) show that the use of google classroom as a learning medium has a positive impact on increasing learning outcomes, interest and motivation of students in learning and fostering creative attitudes in students or students. Based on the results of research by Maharani & Kartini in Ritonga (2020), google classroom can increase interest and motivation because the complete teaching materials are available in google classroom with its features.
b. YouTube

Usually Students understand better when given a video directly from YouTube because YouTube usually provides an easier and faster way to work.
c. Google form
Google form is a survey application which is usually used to provide interviews or to be used for attendance lists. In schools this application is rarely used, teachers tend to use Google classroom or WA to become a medium for online learning.
Research on the use of google form as a learning medium has been carried out by several researchers (Fauzi, 2014;
Batubara, 2016; Fatira and Lestari; 2017). The research conducted by Fauzi was entitled The Use of Google Forms as a Learning Evaluation Tool for Indonesian Language Subjects (Descriptive Study on Analytical Class VIII SMP Negeri 1 Lembang). In this study, it is hoped that the use of the google form evaluation tool is able to provide convenience in learning evaluation activities both from evaluation planning to efficiency, effectiveness, and has an appeal for teachers and students. The results of the study describe the use of Google Forms as a learning evaluation tool in Indonesian subjects starting from the planning stage, the readiness
of facilities and infrastructure to the implementation stage. In addition, in the activity of using Google the learning form has an impact and benefits both from the aspects of affective, efficiency, attractiveness and appearance.
The research conducted by Batubara was entitled The Use of Google Forms as a Tool for Assessing Lecturer Performance in the PGMI UNISKA Study Program Muhammad Arsyad Al Banjari. In his research, he explained the procedure for making online questionnaires using Google Form as a medium for assessing lecturer performance and student responses to their users.
The results of the research conducted show that the procedure for developing a lecturer performance appraisal questionnaire in the learning process using Google Form starts from the stages of planning, creating, publishing instructions for use. Meanwhile, most students liked the use of questionnaires and provided them online which were considered easy to access, efficient, save paper and an attractive appearance.

2. Students’ perception of the online media used by teacher in learning English
Students’ perception of the online media used by teacher in learning English based on the result of the students’ interview that the researcher had been conducted which related to the questions answered by the students on the interview session. Those are categorized as the positive and negative perception of media that used by teacher and it would be explained as follows :
a. Positive perceptions
The first is the online media can help students to understand about the lesson easily and add insight and references, based on the findings it revealed that the media is a tool that really help students in the teaching and learning process, students find it easier to understand the material because of the media students can also add insight and lots of references and stimulate students to learn. It related to the Azhar (2011) learning media is a tool in the learning process both inside and outside the classroom, further explained that learning media is a component of learning resources or physical vehicles that contain instructional material in the student environment that can stimulate students to learn. Syaful Bahri Djamarah and Azwan Zain (2010: 121) reveal that learning media are any tools that can be used as a channel for messages to achieve learning objectives.
The second is increase students’ motivation and interest in the learning, based on the findings it revealed that Learning motivation and students’ interest in learning are increasing because of the media with the interest and motivation of studentsto do something they are interested. It related to According to Miarso (2004) argues that "learning media is anything that is used to transmit messages and can stimulate thoughts, feelings, attention,
motivation and interest in student learning so that it can encourage the learning process".
Interest is a characteristic that is relatively fixed in a person. This interest has a huge effect on learning, because with interest someone will do something that he is interested in. On the other hand, without someone's interest it is impossible to do something. Student involvement in learning is closely related to the nature, talents and intelligence of students. Learning that can adjust the nature, talents and intelligence of students is learning that is in demand.
Motive is a kind of power within a person that can encourage him to do something. While motivation is a process to activate motives into actions or behavior to meet needs and achieve goals. The teacher's job is how to motivate students so that they want to learn.
Muyaroah & Fajartia (2017) stated that online-based learning media can effectively increase student interest in learning.
Research conducted by (Risabethe & Astuti, 2017; Tafonao, 2018) also states that learning media is effective in increasing student learning motivation. Based on this explanation, it can be concluded that learning media can increase students' interest in learning and motivation in learning so that it has a positive impact on student learning outcomes.
The third is learning is more interesting, fun, relaxed and not boring, based on the findings it revealed that Learning that is interesting, fun, relaxed, not awkward and not boring will eliminate the awkwardness of students, both among teachers and among students themselves. This can also encourage students to ask questions, so that communication between educators and students can be built. As a teacher, you can explain to students that no other student will mock when he or she asks. Motivate students that by asking questions, it will be easier for them to know more about something than just listening quietly.
The fourth is prevent and decide the spread of Covid-19.
Online learning can break the chain of spreading covid-19, students and teachers do not gather in one room and it will all speed up the process recovery of covid-19.
The fifth is effective, efficient and saving time, based on the findings it revealed that learning becomes effective, efficient and saving time because of the qualified media.
According to Sutjiono (2005), a learning medium is needed by teachers so that learning runs effectively and efficiently.
Learning media also make learning activities more efficient so that it saves energy and also time.
According to Rayanda Asyar (2012) , The meaning of learning media according to Rayanda Asyar can be understood as
anything that can convey or transmit messages from sources in a planned manner, resulting in a conducive learning environment where the recipient can carry out the learning process efficiently and effectively.
Dryden and Voss (1999) say that online learning will be effective if the learning atmosphere is fun. A person who actively constructs his / her knowledge and needs the support of a maximum learning atmosphere and facilities. A pleasant atmosphere and not accompanied by a tense atmosphere is very good and supportive to generate motivation to learn. Children basically learn most effectively when they are playing or doing something fun. This means that learning is most effective if it is done actively by the individual.
The essence of effective learning is a teaching and learning process which is not only focused on the results achieved by students, but how an effective learning process is able to provide good understanding, intelligence, persistence, opportunity and quality and can provide behavior change and apply it in their lives.
Effective learning will also train and instill a democratic attitude for students and can also create a pleasant learning atmosphere so as to give students creativity to be able to learn with the potential they already have, namely by giving freedom to carry out learning in their own way of learning.
One of the things that must be put forward in creating a pleasant learning atmosphere is to include student participation in the class. In addition to building communication with students, teachers can also find out what the students need. If this situation does not develop, students may feel awkward talking to the teacher and communication will not work well. As a result, teachers will also have difficulty knowing what students want.
b. Negative perceptions
The first was lack of understanding or difficulty in understanding the material and doing the assignment given by the teacher.
The second was the appearance of boredom or feeling bored during learning. There is a feeling of fatigue in the individual both physically and psychologically. Based Corey (Cherniss, 1980) defines learning boredom as a state of physical, mental, attitudes and emotional exhaustion of individuals or work due to intensive involvement with work for a long period of time. Meanwhile, Agustin (2009: 31) explains that learning boredom is an emotional condition when a student feels tired and bored mentally and physically as a result of the increasing demands of academic work.
Thus, from the various views of experts regarding the definition of learning boredom, it can be concluded that learning boredom is a psychological symptom that shows emotional exhaustion, cynicism
or depersonalization and decreased student academic confidence due to intensive involvement with long-lasting learning demands.
Saturation of learning / often feeling bored while studying can have a negative impact on the psychological condition of an individual and his achievement. Cherniss (1980: 65) states that the psychological impact of burnout will result in stagnation of individual achievement personally, academically, socially or professionally. Meanwhile, Sugara (2011: 19) states that the impact of boredom in learning is to make students unproductive in learning and their potential is hampered. In addition, another form of resistance from learning boredom also results in the learning process being ineffective and not conducive to the emotional climate in the classroom. This happens because students experience fatigue physically, mentally and emotionally.
Meanwhile, Makmun (2001: 134) suggests that learning boredom is assessed as the inability of memory to accommodate new information or experiences or individuals feel that learning outcomes have not progressed for a certain time.
The third was the teaching process often runs ineffective.
Because there is some students’ time that is consumed because of online learning, usually the teacher gives assignments or material outside of the specified learning hours and it greatly hinders the activities of other students.
The fourth was the burden of buying quota. Online learning requires a large quota and this is very burden some for students. Moreover during the covid-19 this also had a major impact on all aspects of life, including the economy. Just imagine a family affected by lay off, will experience economic difficulties. In additional their children who go to school have to take online lessons at a cost of buying a quota which is quite expensive. This is one obstacles for students when doing online learning.
The last was unstable network. Sometimes the unstable network which makes the learning and teaching process constrained, people in rural areas or in the mountains usually look for networks up to the top of the mountain so that the network they get is good, and it all endangers their lives. that's why there are several cases of students or students who died as a result of searching for networks.
71 CHAPTER V
CONCLUSION AND SUGGESTION
This chapter presented the conclusion and suggestions of this research.
The conclusion were formulated from research questions, while suggestions provided some ideas addressed to English teachers and further researcher related to the teachers’ acts in performing teaching and learning process.
A. Conclusion
