ART. I-PREAMBLE

Sec. 1. The Women's Student Govern·

mentheartily believes that normal comrade- ship between young men and young women, in' mutual respect and reverence, in fine selt- dil'(lctlon alltl self-control are essential ,tp the ('o·opemtioll of social life and activities with the dnlms of health and scholarship.

The following regulations are an attempt to adapt the mellll'ers of this organization to the special conclltlons of the college (·ommnnlty. 'I'hls organization expects itn memhers to be guided hy the underlying prind'ples of wholesome sOfial relation- ships in all situations whether covered by these definite statements or not. Disregard of these prilleiples or violations of the regu- lations will be eonstdered suffie1ent grounds ror, imposing pf-naltles.

ART. II----CI.OI'I:\'O HoL'uS Hec. 1. Seniors shall be at their places of residence by 10 :00 P. M. except on Fri- day, Saturday, and Sunday nights, when the hour shall be 10 :RO P. M.

Sec. 2. Juniors shall be at their places of residence by 9 :30 P. M. except Frida~·.

Sec. 2. Whenever vacation rules are In effect entertaining shall be confined to afternoons and evenings only.

ART. V-CHAPERONAGE

Sec. 1. Sec. 4. Any woman, other than a Senior going on automobile rides taking her out-of- town for more than half a day, shall sign her name and destination in a book pro- vided for that purpose or shall make the same known to the matron or chaperone of the house.

ART. VI

Sec. 1. After a careful and tborough explanation of the rules by the president

of the organization, the Freshmen shall be required to pass an examination on the rules and regulations pertaining to W. S.

G. attaining at least a B Grade on such an examination. This shall be conducted by the council not later than Nov. 1. In case anyone fails to pasH this examination -due punishment will be inflicted until the grade is attained.

Sec. 2. Provision shall be made to send the President of the Women's Student Government to the Annual Inter-Collegiate

ART. vI!

Sec. 1. Any member upon leaving town shall leave, with the pel'son In authority at the place at which she Is rooming, informa- tion as to where she Is going, and her address while out of town.

ART. Ix-ENFORC,;MENT

Sec. 1. Each memher of the Women's Student, Government Is honor bound to ohserve and to co·operate in enforcing this system of government.
