Pembelajaran menggunakan kerangka TPACK pada dasarnya sama dengan pembelajaran biasanya, hanya saja kita lebih banyak melibatkan peran teknologi atau perangkat yang membantu baik siswa maupun guru untuk lebih mudah menyelesaikan tugasnya. Pendalaman dan persiapan materi yang akan diberikan ke siswa adalah hal utama yang harus disiapkan karena teknologi yang akan digunakan haruslah sesuai dengan materi yang akan disampaikan. Setelah materi siap, langkah selanjutnya adalah memilih dan memilah aplikasi atau laman yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan siswa dan guru. Setelah materi dan perangkat siap, maka langkah selanjutnya adalah merencanakan kegiatan di dalam kelas.

Guru Menjelaskan Materi
Seperti pembelajaran pada umumnya, tahapan ini adalah tahapan yang memang tidak bisa dihilangkan. Walaupun teknologi sudah menyediakan segalanya mengenai materi dan sumber pembelajaran, keberadaan guru sebagai mediator dalam menyampaikan materi tetap dibutuhkan. Dalam tahap ini, guru menggunakan ED TED untuk menyampaikan materi kepada siswa. Pada dasarnya ED TED adalah sebuah laman tidak berbayar yang bisa diakses oleh siapa saja untuk kepentingan pembelajaran. ED TED memberikan kepada siswa dan guru untuk mendapatkan pengalaman belajar dan mengajar sesuai dengan kebutuhan masing-masing siswa.
Seperti yang kita tahu, bahwa setiap siswa mempunyai kemampuan serta kecepatan berpikir yang berbeda dalam memahami sebuah materi atau pelajaran. Dengan menggunakan ED TED, setiap siswa akan mencoba untuk memahami materi sesuai dengan porsinya walaupun tetap dalam porsi waktu yang bersamaan dengan siswa lain di kelas.

83 Ada empat tahap yang dilakukan dalam menyampaikan materi dengan menggunakan ED TED yaitu Watch, Think, Dig Deepe, and Discuss. Pertama, pada tahap Watch, siswa diarahkan untuk menonton sebuah video yang berupa penjelasan atau contoh yang berhubungan dengan teks deskriptif. Siswa bisa mengulangi video tersebut jika dirasa masih belum paham dengan penjelasan yang disampaikan. Pada tahap kedua, yaitu tahap think, siswa diminta untuk menjawab beberapa pertanyaan yang berhubungan dengan video yang diputarkan tadi. Pertanyaan bisa berbentuk pertanyaan singkat, essay, atau pilihan ganda. Selanjutnya, pada tahap ketiga, siswa diminta untuk membaca lebih banyak tentang literasi yang berhubungan dengan deskriptif teks beserta contoh-contohnya. Pada tahap terakhir, Discuss, terdapat beberapa pertanyaan essay yang harus di jawab siswa dalam diskusi antara siswa dan guru yang berhubungan dengan materi pembelajaran tadi. Setelah selesai ke empat tahap tadi, siswa diberi intruksi untuk membuat sebuah teks pendek.
Siswa membuat sebuah tulisan pendek
Siswa membuat tulisan yang berkisar 100 – 150 kata mengenai deskripsi rumah, keluarga, sekolah, atau hobi. Siswa menuliskan teks deskriptif di Google Document.
Siswa membagikan dokumen tersebut kepada guru melalui email. Kemudian guru akan bisa langsung membuka Google Document tersebut dan bisa langsung melihat hasil pekerjaan siswa. Guru mengklasifikasikan pekerjaan siswa berdasarkan kualitas tulisan siswa mulai dari kualifikasi rendah sampai yang terbaik.

Dalam setiap kelompok harus terdapat siswa yang unggul dan masih kurang agar saling termotivasi untuk belajar dan bisa membantu dalam proses pembelajaran. Hal ini sangat perlu dilakukan agar siswa yang berada di level middle-low dapat dibantu oleh siswa yang mempunyai kemampuan Bahasa Inggris yang lebih bagus. Dalam pengelompokan ini, rubrik dan penilaian yang akurat dibutuhkan agar pembagian siswa berdasarkan tingkat kemampuan Bahasa Inggris bisa merata dan mendapatkan hasil yang sesuai dengan yang diharapkan.
Membuat tulisan bersama dalam kelompok
Setelah siswa di bagi ke dalam beberapa kelompok, setiap kelompok diminta untuk membuat sebuah teks deskriptif tentang kota, bangunan, atau tempat umum lainnya.
Siswa menyusun teks tersebut secara kolaborasi menggunakan google documents.
Selain itu, siswa diperkenalkan dan diperbolehkan untuk menggunakan aplikasi Grammar Checker, Citation Generator, dan Plagiarism Checker guna membantu siswa dalam mendeteksi plagiarisme dan kesalahan dalam menulis serta mengorganisasikan referensi dalam tulisan.
Reflective Feedback (umpan balik)
Salah satu kelebihan dari Google Document adalah aplikasi ini dapat di akses oleh siswa dan guru di mana saja, kapan saja dan dengan menggunakan gawai termasuk telepon pintar. Ketika siswa mengerjakan tugas kelompoknya di luar jam kelas, guru masih bisa memantau sejauh mana perkembangan tugas siswa dalam kelompok.
85 Aplikasi Google doc inidilengkapi dengan fitur riwayat penyuntingan sehingga di mana guru bisa melihat riwayat siapa saja dan kapan terakhir kali menyunting dokumen kelompok tersebut. Dengan demikian, guru masih bisa memberikan umpan balik dan penilaian kepada setiap individu walaupun ini merupakan pekerjaan yang dilakukan secara berkelompok.
