1. Research Stage

1.1. Inorganic Fertilizer Research

1.1.1 NPK fertilizer development of various formulations for specific commodity: Jeranti Extra and NPK fertilizer of seasonal fruits.

a. Application of NPK formula 15-10-20 for oil palms (in cooperation with PPKS Medan).

• Period: 2015 - 2017

• Description: Test the effectiveness and efficacy of NPK fertilizer formula 15-10-

• Period: 2015 – 2017

• Description: Testing of NPK fertilizer formula in annual fruit crops was tested on mango and durian plants. Tests using NPK fertilizer formula 14-10-22 +0.4 TE, comparative fertilizer, and control.

• Result: NPK formula for annual crop fertilizer will be registered with Jeranti brand. Currently, the design of packaging is being done by the Dept. Of Planning and Promotion

c. Cooperation with UGM on NPK fertilizer of seasonal fruit plants

• Period : March 2016 - 2017

• Description : Testing of NPK fertilizer formula of seasonal fruit plants in cooperation with UGM.

• Result: Internal research and external research has been conducted in collaboration with UGM Faculty of Agriculture and a final report of UGM research results has been submitted in October 2016. NPK Fruit Fertilizer formula will be registered with Jeranti brand as well as parallel with the registration process of circulation permit.

1.1.2 Trial of nitroska fertilizer production

• Period: August 2016 - December 2016

• Description: Production of nitroska fertilizer in cooperation with NPK

• Result: Nitroska fertilizer product has been obtained

1.1.3 Formulation of NPK fertilizer effervescence

• Period: August 2016 – 2017

• Description: formulation of NPK fertilizer effervescence

• Results: An evaluation study and product formulation as well as tablet machine procurement are currently underway.

1.1.4 Formulation of hydroponic fertilizer

• Period: August 2016 – 2017

• Description: Hydroponics fertilizer was tested on kale plants to know the recommended fertilization dose.

• Outcome: Formula and fertilization doses have been obtained

1.1.5 Nitroska formulation using NH4NO3 liquid

• Period : September 2016 – 2017

• Description : Preparation of Nitroska

• Periode : 2015 - 2017.

• Keterangan : Pengujian formula pupuk NPK pada tanaman buah tahunan diuji pada tanaman mangga dan durian.

Pengujian menggunakan pupuk NPK formula 14-10-22 +0,4 TE, pupuk pembanding, dan kontrol.

• Hasil : Formula NPK untuk pupuk tanaman tahunan akan didaftarkan dengan merek Jeranti. Saat ini pengurusan desain kemasan sedang dilakukan oleh Dept. Perencanaan dan Promosi.

c. Kerjasama dengan UGM mengenai pupuk NPK tanaman buah semusim

• Periode : Maret 2016 - 2017.

• Keterangan : Pengujian formula pupuk NPK tanaman buah semusim yang bekerjasama dengan UGM.

• Hasil : Telah dilakukan penelitian internal dan penelitian eksternal bekerjasama dengan Fak.Pertanian UGM dan telah diserahkan laporan akhir hasil penelitian UGM pada bulan Oktober 2016. Formula pupuk NPK Buah semusim akan didaftarkan dengan merek Jeranti juga dan paralel akan dilakukan pendaftaran ijin edar.

1.1.2. Trial percobaan produksi pupuk nitroska

• Periode : Agustus 2016 – Desember 2016.

• Keterangan : Produksi pupuk nitroska bekerjasama dengan NPK.

• Hasil : Telah didapatkan produk pupuk nitroska.

1.1.3. Formulasi pupuk NPK effervescence

• Periode : Agustus 2016 - 2017

• Keterangan : Formulasi pupuk NPK effervescence.

• Hasil : Saat ini sedang dilakukan kajian evaluasi dan formulasi produk serta pengadan mesin tablet.

1.1.4 Formulasi pupuk hidroponik

• Periode : Agustus 2016 - 2017.

• Keterangan : Pupuk hidroponik diujikan pada tanaman kale untuk menetahui dosis pemupukan yang dianjurkan.

• Hasil : Formula dan dosis pemupukan telah didapatkan.

1.1.5. Formulasi Nitroska menggunakan NH4NO3 liquid

• Periode : September 2016 - 2017.

• Keterangan : Persiapan uji kompatibilitas

formulasi Nitroska menggunakan NH4NO3 cair.

• Hasil : Sedang dalam kajian dan penyusunan variabel pengujian untuk aplikasi 25% NH4NO3.

1.1.6. Uji Coba Pupuk Tambak pada Kolam Riset

• Periode : Januari 2016 – April 2016

• Keterangan : Pupuk formula NP 36-8 diujikan pada kolam riset simulasi yang dibuat dari drum bekas dan diberi ikan sebagai indikator hasil pengukuran menggunakan 3 perlakuan yaitu kontrol, 1 dosis pupuk NP, dan ½ dosis pupuk NP.

• Hasil : Berdasarkan hasil analisa kualitas air, populasi plankton, dan kenaikan bobot ikan, perlakuan kontrol memberikan hasil yang paling baik.

1.1.6 Trial test of Pond Fertilizer in Research Pool

• Period : January 2016 - April 2016

• Description : NP 36-8 formula fertilizer was tested on a simulated research pool made from used drums and fed fish as an indicator of measurement results using 3 treatments i.e. control, 1 dose of NP fertilizer, and ½ dose of NP fertilizer.

• Results : Based on the results of water quality analysis, plankton population, and fish weight gain, control treatment gave the best results.

• Result : The result of lab analysis for K2O content is 44,22%, NO3 56,95%, impurities 0,6% were NH3 and Cl and purity 95,2% in which the results of that analysis were appropriate with the standard value of KNO3 fertilizer

1.1.8 Tests of seasonal NPK fertilizer stage II in melon plants

• Period : January 2016 - June 2016

• Description : NPK fruit fertilizers were tested on melon fruit crops to determine the response of the fertilizer application compared to the Control

• Result : Final NPK fertilizer test of stage II on melon plants showed NPK formula 12-10-16 + 6S + 0.4 TE gave better response to vegetative growth compared with control treatment and comparative fertilizer

1.1.9 Comparative Test of Effectivity between NPK NPK 15-15-15 Fertilizer, NPK fertilizer 12-10-16 + 6S + 0,4 T, and 12-12-14 + 4Mg + 2S + 0.4 TE in cucumber plants

• Period : May 2016 - July 2016.

• Description : NPK NPK fertilizer 15- 15-15 NPK fertilizer, NPK 12-10-16 + 6S + 0.4 TE, and 12-12-14 + 4Mg + 2S + 0.4 TE were tested on cucumber plants to find out which fertilizer gave the best resultan.

• Results : appropriate fertilizer formula for cucumber plants was obtained.

1.1.10 Trial of Urea Ammonium Nitrate Formulation (UAN) in collaboration with MNK

• Period: May 2016 - July 2016.

• Description: Urea from Kujang Fertilizer is reacted with ammonium nitrate from MNK to obtain Urea Ammonium Nitrate (UAN) fertilizer.

• Results: A suitable and compatible UAN product formulation has been obtained.

1.1.11 Effect of Nitroska Based Nitric Fertilizer on Melon Fruit Quality

• Period : August 2016 - October 2016.

• Description: Nitroska fertilizer was tested on melon plants compared with NPK 15-15-15, KCl, and control fertilizers.

• Results : The highest sweetness level was obtained by Nitroska + KCl treatment.

1.1.12 Trial testing of fertilizer application 15-15-15 in rainbow corn plant in kamuning experiment garden.

• Hasil : Hasil analisa lab untuk kadar K2O adalah 44,22 %, NO3 56,95 %, impurities 0,6 % berupa NH3 dan Cl serta kemurnian 95,2 % dimana hasil analisa tersebut telah masuk nilai standar pupuk KNO3.

1.1.8. Pengujian pupuk NPK buah semusim tahap II pada tanaman melon

• Periode : Januari 2016 – Juni 2016.

• Keterangan : Pupuk NPK buah semusim diujikan pada tanaman buah melon untuk mengetahui respon pemberian pupuk tersebut yang dibandingkan dengan kontrol.

• Hasil : Pengujian pupuk NPK buah semusim tahap II pada tanaman melon menunjukkan formula NPK 12-10-16+6S + 0,4 TE memberikan respon lebih baik pada pertumbuhan vegetatif dibandingkan dengan perlakuan kontrol dan pupuk pembanding.

1.1.9. Uji Komparasi Efektifitas Antara Pupuk NPK NPK 15-15-15, pupuk NPK 12-10-16+6S+0,4TE, dan 12- 12-14+ 4Mg+2S+0,4 TE pada tanaman timun suri

• Periode : Mei 2016 – Juli 2016.

• Keterangan : Pupuk NPK NPK 15-15-15, pupuk NPK 12-10-16+6S+0,4TE, dan 12-12- 14+ 4Mg+2S+0,4 TE diujikan pada tanaman timun suri untuk mengetahui pupuk yang memberikan hasil terbaik.

• Hasil : Diperoleh formula pupuk yang sesuai untuk tanaman timun suri.

1.1.10. Trial Formulasi Urea Ammonium Nitrat (UAN) bekerjasama dengan MNK

• Periode : Mei 2016 – Juli 2016

• Keterangan : Urea dari Pupuk Kujang direaksikan dengan amonium nitrat dari MNK untuk mendapatkan pupuk Urea Ammonium Nitrat (UAN).

• Hasil : Telah diperoleh formulasi produk UAN yang sesuai dan kompatibel.

1.1.11. Pengaruh Pupuk Nitroska Based Nitrat Terhadap Kualitas Buah Melon

• Periode : Agustus 2016 – Oktober 2016.

• Keterangan : Pupuk nitroska diujikan pada tanaman melon dibandingkan dengan pupuk NPK 15-15-15, KCl, dan kontrol.

• Hasil : Tingkat kemanisan tertinggi didapat dengan perlakuan Nitroska + KCl.

1.1.12. Uji coba aplikasi pupuk 15-15-15 pada tanaman jagung rainbow di kebun percobaan kamuning.

• Period : December 2015 - February 2016.

• Description : NPK 15-15-15 fertilizer was tested

on rainbow corn crops.

• Results : 20.6 kg of rainbow corn seed has been harvested.
