Halo semua. Semoga kalian senantiasa sehat dan bahagia. Karena kita belum bisa belajar dengan bertatap muka, Bapak/Ibu guru berharap bahan ajar pembelajaran berbasis aktivitas ini bisa mewakili kehadiran kami. Kalian dapat belajar dengan mengikuti setiap aktivitas sepenuh hati. Bahan ajar pembelajaran berbasis aktivitas ini adalah bentuk kasih sayang kami, para guru, yang selalu berharap kalian bisa mencapai kemajuan yang lebih jauh. Tetap semangat belajar dan tetap di rumah ya, Jangan lupa berdoa sebelum kita memulai kegiatan ini!
1. Apakah kalian menyukaii lagu? Saat situaasi apakah kalian merasaan lagu itu sebagai sesuatu hal yang menarik sehingga membuat kalian terbawa suasana hati? Klau memang suka dengan lagu baiklah sekarang kita akan belajaar tentang lagu ya.

Lagu-lagu berbahasa Inggris biasanya memfokuskan pada Tenses tertentu. Mari kita amati setiap stanza yang digunakan pada lirik lagu di bawah ini.
Banyak kalimat menggunakan Present Continuous Tense yang menyatakan bahwa kejadiannya sedang berlangsung. Ketika kita membacanya, kita bisa membayangkan apa yang sebenarnya sedang terjadi kepada penyanyinya.
Meskipun masing-masing kata kerja ditulis dalam bentuk informal, pembaca sebenarmya memahami bagaimana ejaan yang formal. Misal, nothin’ adalah nothing, hangin’ adalah hanging. Kalian bisa menyebutkan kata kerja yang lainnya yang serupa dengan contoh.
Beberapa lagu ditulis dengan gaya puisi dan memiliki rima di akhir kalimat tertentu dalam sebuah stanza. Misal kata ‘room’ berima dengan kata
‘afternoon’. Ada suara ‘U’ di akhir kalimat. Cobalah kalian temukan kata-kata lain yang berima. Tetapi tentu saja tidak semua lagu harus memiliki pesan.
