B. Suggestion

This chapter consisted two points. The researcher discussed the conclusion of this study and suggestion from English teacher and for further researcher.

1. For the English teacher

The teacher could use the focus group discussion technique in teaching speaking skill in the class, because this method could improve the students’ speaking skill. This method could make the students active during the teaching and learning process.

2. For the future researcher

This research was conducted to determine the status of teaching english in the high school of Al – Qodiri Jember as perceived by teacher and students in Multimedia class during the school year 2020/2021. The aspects looked into were the qualification of teacher, their methods and strategies, facilities forms of supervisory assistance, problems and proposed solutions to problems.

The researcher hopes that this research could use as reference for further researcher to do better method of teaching and learning English the further research could be implementation focus group discussion technique in other skill such as reading and writing.
