B. Result
1. Teacher implementing Scrabble media in teaching vocabulary mastery for VII grade students at SMP Darul Lughah Wal Karomah
At this stage, direct observations were made to see the teacher implement Scrabble media in teaching vocabulary mastery for VII grade students at SMP Darul Lughah Wal Karomah. Which was carried out by Mrs. Cahyu Nur Indira an English teacher. The results of the research that has been done are obtained data on the teacher implement Scrabble media in teaching vocabulary mastery for VII grade students at SMP Darul Lughah Wal Karomah, namely:
a. The teacher conveys the competencies to be achieved
Before entering the core activities, namely explaining the material to students, firstly the teacher conveys what competencies will be achieved from the learning being carried out, the teacher then also conveys the topics to be discussed. As an English teacher, Mrs. Cahyu Nur Indira said:
In the steps for implementing Scrabble media in teaching vocabulary mastery, first of all, before entering into the activity
of explaining the material, I convey the topic of learning on that day, of course also inform students in advance about what our learning goals are for that day, then I also explain the steps of learning activities so that the learning process can run smoothly.50
From the statement conveyed by Mrs. Cahyu Nur Indira. This shows that the initial activities carried out before starting learning are conveying the competencies to be achieved to students so that students know what the goals will be achieved from the learning that will be carried out on that day. Submission of this competency is the first step in applying Scrabble media in teaching vocabulary mastery.
This statement is on accordance with the results of observations made by researchers on May 27th, 2023, where researchers saw the learning process in class when the teacher conveyed to students the competencies to be achieved and the teacher also does apperception before proceeding to the delivery of the material.51
The results of the interviews above were then supported and strengthened by the documentation taken by the researcher in the process of learning English by implementing Scrabble media in VII A class.

Teacher activities convey learning objectives and competencies to be achieved
At the beginning of the activity, the teacher opens learning begins with a greeting and then continued by praying before starting learning activities led by student representatives in class. Based on Figure 4.1 after opening Mrs. Cahyu Nur Indira continued by conveying the goals and competencies to be achieved from the learning activities being carried out, and usually, before learning begins Mrs. Cahyu Nur Indira conducts apperceptions. this is to with the statement of the English teacher namely Mrs. Cahyu Nur Indira explained:
Apperception here is by repeating or reviewing the return from material or lessons that have been explained by the teacher at the previous meeting to be able to attract students to the learning activities that will be carried out as well as learning at the next meeting. In addition, apperception is carried out to increase student understanding and encourage student interest and motivation so that learning can be carried out properly, and learning objectives can be achieved.52
Apperception in learning activities needs to be used as a bridge to remember and connect the next delivery of material. Mrs. Cahyu Nur Indira focuses students' attention by connecting the material to be studied

with the previous material by asking questions related to the material that was explained in the previous meeting before proceeding to the new material. This was reinforced by a statement made by Noer Liza, one of the students in VII A who stated:
Mrs. Indri opened with greetings then prayed together and was absent, after that she conveyed her learning objectives, before explaining the material, Mrs. Indri asked about the previous material that was discussed yesterday.53
Before entering into the activity of explaining learning material, the implementation of Scrabble media in teaching vocabulary mastery begins with conveying the learning topics and competencies to be achieved. The delivery of this competence is intended so that students know what to achieve from the learning activities that will be carried out.
b. The teacher explains the learning material
The next step in implementing Scrabble media in teaching vocabulary in VII class is to continue with the delivery of material by the teacher. Here the teacher conveys learning material as usual.
From the results of observations made by researchers during the process of learning English with Scrabble media, it can be seen in this activity, Ms. Cahyu Nur Indira said or explained the English material discussed at the meeting that day, from the results of observations of the implementation of English lessons on May 27th, 2023, Mrs. Cahyu Nur Indira delivered English material with the

theme of part of speech in VII A class by adjusting to the lesson plan or design that had been made previously. The submission of material by Mrs. Cahyu Nur Indira was delivered using the lecture method to insure that each student understands the material being discussed and studied as well as ensuring their understanding for later in the form discussion group.54 By the statement conveyed by Mrs. Cahyu Nur Indira:
Implementing Scrabble media in it students are made into small groups of 2-4 students to play Scrabble media. But before that, I conveyed and explained the material clearly and in detail as usual and to ensure that students usually understand this activity, I intersperse it with a question and answer session with them so that they understand.55
Based on the results of observing the implementation of Scrabble media, in this activity, Mrs. Cahyu Nur Indira explain the material about part of speech to students coherently and clearly as usual or even usually combined with other methods, this adjusts to the material and conditions of the students in the class.
When the teacher explains English learning material, every student listens carefully and records every important point conveyed by the teacher, this is intended to provide a deeper understanding to students of learning materials.
In between material explanations, Mrs. Cahyu Nur Indira usually also conducts question and answer sessions with students to

see how far students understand the material presented and attract students' interest and enthusiasm. After all, students feel they understand, then Mrs. Cahyu Nur Indira divides students into several groups, each group consisting of 2-4 students.
c. The teacher divides students into several groups
The teacher divides students into several groups consisting of 2-4 people in each group and then the teacher explains the steps for playing Scrabble media. this is to the statement of the English teacher namely Mrs. Cahyu Nur Indira explained:
Students are formed into several groups and students are allowed to open the dictionary 5 times during the games. The initial step in the Scrabble media is to put the letter pieces into the bag, then each player takes one chip at random, for those who get the higher letter, they will play first, but the empty pieces are considered superior to the letter A. If there are two or more players who took the same letter, the letter is put back in the pocket and the draw starts over. On each turn, each player draws up to 7 letters from the pocket. Each player’s rack is filled with letters that are protected from the opponent’s view.
Each word is made to get as many points as possible by using as many pieces of letters as possible. As part of the strategy, players can choose to leave letters that they think can result in high points on their next return. At each turn, on each player’s rack, there are 7 or fewer letters that can be used to form a word. When it is their turn, players can choose to: 1.) Skip their turn due to being unable to make a word, and earning no points.
2.) Exchange one or more letters owned by the letters in the bag, and not get points (only allowed if there are at least 7 letters left in the bag). 3.) Arrange words on the game board and earn points. 4.) Question the words previously composed by the opponent because they are not words that may be played.56

The result of the interview is the same as those supported by the observation that the researcher observed teaching vocabulary mastery using Scrabble media. Students are formed into several groups to play and as long as the game starts, players are only allowed to open the dictionary 5 times. Mrs. Cahyu Nur Indira also explain the benefits of forming groups in pairs to later have the task of re-explaining the material in discussion namely:
Improve their communication, improve taste their self- confidence so they are not shy in expressing opinions to their fellow friends, and increases their understanding of the material that is explained repeatedly and making the people who are responsible for the tasks given.57
In this group, each student will later get the same role and switch roles between friends. The results of observations show that in this activity each student is divided into several groups on a small scale, consisting of only 2-4 students.
From the results of observations by researchers, it can be seen that the formation of groups is determined or selected by the teacher.
In this activity, students then carry out the tasks given by the teacher according to their respective roles. In the observations made on the English learning process students in each group take turns composing words from the letters they hold. So that learning is very exciting. It seems that they also interact with each other to ask each other for

opinions regarding the material being discussed so that in learning every student is actively involved.
The observations made were strengthened by documentation obtained by researchers in this activity. The following documentation of student activities when playing Scrabble media in class that has been determined:

The process of teaching vocabulary mastery
Based on the picture in 4. 2 above according to the results observations and observations by researchers in class during the learning process, after being formed in groups, students are required to focus on what they are doing at that time. Students are required to arrange words on the Scrabble board from the letters they have. In this way, students succeed in discovering a lot of new vocabulary from Scrabble media. As explained by Yasmin Zakiyah, she stated:
What I felt when learning English with Mrs. Cahyu Nur Indira by using Scrabble media was very enjoyable, because using Scrabble media made it easier for me to master a lot of vocabulary.”58

d. The teacher assigns students alternately to present the results of their discussion
After all, students have finished with their respective assignments in the group then their task is continued with progress one by one each student in front of the class to convey or present what has been obtained from the Scrabble media. Take turns until all students have advanced and presented. As Mrs. Cahyu Nur Indira said:
At this step, each student is invited to come forward, then students are required to present what they have obtained, and students are required to state the vocabulary that has been obtained while playing Scrabble media.59
Mrs. Cahyu Nur Indira’s statement is in accordance with the results of observations made by researchers in this activity which can be seen after the students have finished and returned to their respective benches, the next is a presentation in front of the class by conveying the results that have been obtained. The teacher also accompanies students during this activity.60
e. The teacher repeats material that students do not understand
In this activity, the teacher asks students first regarding their understanding of the material that has been discussed, when there are still students who feel they do not understand enough or do not understand enough of some of the material, the teacher will explain again until students understand. With direction and assistance from the

teacher, students and teachers then conclude the results of the discussion of the material that has been discussed and students record the results of the conclusions that have been submitted by the teacher.
Furthermore, Mrs. Cahyu Nur Indira closed the lesson but before that, she did not forget to remind students to keep studying at home, especially about the next material to be discussed in the next meeting, the goal is for students to keep learning and come armed with material they have read and understood before. Then Mrs. Cahyu Nur Indira gave homework to students or other assignments. Yasmin Zakiyah explains:
If all the groups have presented, then don't forget Mrs. Cahyu Nur Indira to review the material that has been discussed we are allowed to ask anything that is not understood or is unclear and at the end, we are given homework to do at home.61
The results of observations in class, in this activity, before the learning process ends, the teacher first allows students to ask about material that is not understood or is not clear. After all students understand the teacher and students make material conclusions and students while recording the results of the material conclusions.
Furthermore, Mrs. Cahyu Nur Indira gave homework to students to see their understanding and also for students to study at home. Before ending the lesson the teacher motivates students and reminds them not to forget to take the time to study while at home, especially studying

and reading the material that will be discussed next. After everything is finished, the learning activities are closed with a prayer and end greetings.
2. Teacher perspective on the implementation of Scrabble media in
