6. Workstream Sharia Banking includes
Increasing the acceleration of the development of Islamic Commercial Banks (BUS), through expanding the function of sharia services at conventional branch offices, implementing Islamic People’s Business Credit (KUR) and developing mudharabah giro products.
By implementing this business strategy, in economic conditions amid this pandemic, the performance of Bank Riau Kepri in 2020 has met the expectations of stakeholders as seen from the achievement of the targets that have been set. The achievement of total assets reached 106.41%, which is above the target with realized assets in 2020 amounting to IDR28.20 trillion. Third party funds have succeeded in exceeding the 107.96% target with realization in 2020 amounting to IDR22.14 trillion. This achievement was in line with the achievement of demand deposits and deposits of 105.79% and 117.64%, respectively.
Achievement of net interest income of 101.87% with realization in 2020 amounting to IDR1.31 trillion. Likewise, the realized profit in 2020 was IDR463.97 billion with an achievement of 123.73%. In 2020 the CAR, RoA and RoE ratios have achieved very good achievements, namely 100.78%, 132.29%, 122.71% respectively.
In the conventional segment, the amount of savings funds in 2020 amounted to IDR5.14 trillion, an increase of 0.20%
or IDR10.27 billion compared to 2019 which amounted to IDR5.13 trillion. The number of deposit funds in 2020 amounted to IDR10.11 trillion, an increase of 13.21% or IDR1.18 trillion compared to 2019 which amounted to IDR8.93 trillion. The amount of net credit granted was IDR18.43 trillion, an increase of 5.97% compared to 2019 which amounted to IDR17.40 trillion. The amount of credit outstanding funds in 2020 amounted to IDR16.22 trillion, an increase of 3.56% or IDR557.64 billion compared to 2019 which amounted to IDR15.67 trillion. The sharia segment in 2020 also recorded a good performance. The amount of iB current account funds in 2020 amounted to IDR67.93 billion, an increase of 22.91% or IDR12.66 billion compared to 2019 which reached Rp55.27 billion. The amount of iB savings funds in 2020 amounted to IDR1.24 trillion, an increase of 31.34% or IDR289.75 billion compared to 2019 which amounted to IDR0.92 trillion. The amount of

Laba tahun berjalan tahun 2020 sebesar Rp463,97 miliar, meningkat 50,14% dibandingkan dengan tahun 2019 yang sebesar Rp309,02 miliar. Aset tahun 2020 sebesar Rp28,20 triliun, meningkat 10,80% dibandingkan dengan tahun 2019 yang sebesar Rp25,45 triliun. Ekuitas tahun 2020 sebesar Rp3,08 triliun, meningkat 3,16% dibandingkan dengan tahun 2019 yang sebesar Rp2,99 triliun.
Kendala-Kendala Yang Dihadapi Oleh Perseroan dan Langkah- Langkah Penyelesaiannya
Dalam menjalankan kegiatan operasionalnya, Bank Riau Kepri juga dihadapkan pada berbagai kendala.
Kendala-kendala tersebut antara lain, Jaringan/channel, inovasi produk dan layanan berbasis TI serta Kapabilitas pemasaran dan penjualan (diversifikasi pelanggan).
Untuk mengatasi kendala tersebut, meningkatkan inovasi produk dan layanan sesuai kebutuhan segmen melalui Implementasi digital solution diantaranya pengembangan new m-Banking, cash management system dan virtual account. Bank juga melakukan optimalisasi strategi pemasaran dan penjualan produk dan layanan melalui peningkatan kerjasama dengan pelaku usaha dan perusahaan swasta/pihak ketiga lainya terkait produk dan layanan.
Selain itu, terdapat kendala pada kemampuan analisis kredit dan penagihan serta budaya organisasi. Untuk mengatasi kendala tersebut, Bank telah meningkatkan peran SDM dalam mendukung pencapaian kinerja Bank melalui peningkatan kompetensi dan profesionalitas.
Analisis Prospek Usaha
Pemulihan perekonomian global diperkirakan semakin membaik. Perkembangan tersebut sejalan dengan implementasi vaksinasi COVID-19 di banyak negara untuk membangun herd immunity dan mendorong

Constraints Faced By The Company and Completion Steps
In carrying out its operational activities, Bank Riau Kepri is also faced with various obstacles. These constraints include networks/channels, innovation in IT-based products and services as well as marketing and sales capabilities (customer diversification). To overcome these obstacles, increasing product and service innovation according to segment needs through the implementation of digital solutions including the development of new m-Banking, cash management systems and virtual accounts. The Bank also optimizes marketing strategies and sales of products and services through increased cooperation with business actors and other private/third party companies related to products and services.
In addition, there are constraints on the ability to analyze credit and collection as well as organizational culture. To overcome these obstacles, the Bank has increased the role of human resources in supporting the achievement of the Bank’s performance by increasing competence and professionalism.
Analysis of Business Prospects
The global economic recovery is predicted to improve. This development is in line with the implementation of COVID-19 vaccination in many countries to build herd immunity and encourage mobility, as well as the continuation of fiscal
mobilitas, serta berlanjutnya stimulus kebijakan fiskal dan moneter. Pemulihan ekonomi global yang lebih tinggi di negara maju ditopang terutama oleh Amerika Serikat (AS), sedangkan di negara berkembang didorong oleh perbaikan ekonomi Tiongkok dan India. Dengan perkembangan tersebut, pertumbuhan ekonomi global pada 2021 diperkirakan mencapai 5,1%, lebih tinggi dari perkiraan sebelumnya sebesar 5,0%.
Sejalan dengan perbaikan ekonomi global tersebut, volume perdagangan dan harga komoditas dunia terus meningkat sehingga mendukung perbaikan kinerja ekspor negara emerging, termasuk Indonesia. Bank Indonesia memperkirakan pertumbuhan ekonomi Indonesia pada kisaran 4,3%-5,3%, lebih rendah dari perkiraan sebelumnya pada kisaran 4,8%-5,8% sejalan dengan realisasi pertumbuhan ekonomi pada triwulan IV-2020. Inflasi pada tahun 2021 diperkirakan tetap terkendali dalam sasaran 3,0%±1%.
Rapat Dewan Gubernur (RDG) Bank Indonesia pada 17- 18 Februari 2021 memutuskan untuk menurunkan BI 7-Day Reverse Repo Rate (BI7DRR) sebesar 25 bps menjadi 3,50%, suku bunga Deposit Facility sebesar 2,75%, dan suku bunga lending facility sebesar 4,25%. Keputusan ini konsisten dengan perkiraan inflasi yang tetap rendah dan stabilitas nilai tukar Rupiah yang terjaga, serta sebagai langkah lanjutan untuk mendorong momentum pemulihan ekonomi nasional. Selain itu, Bank Indonesia juga menempuh langkah-langkah kebijakan sebagai tindak lanjut sinergi kebijakan Komite Stabilitas Sistem Keuangan (KSSK) dalam Paket Kebijakan Terpadu untuk Peningkatan Pembiayaan Dunia Usaha dalam rangka Percepatan Pemulihan Ekonomi. Bank Indonesia merevisi proyeksi pertumbuhan kredit/
pembiayaan pada tahun 2021 dari semula pada kisaran 7%-9% menjadi 5%-7%. Sehubungan dengan itu, berbagai langkah terus diperkuat dengan sinergi kebijakan KSSK, perbankan, dan dunia usaha untuk menjaga optimisme dan mengatasi permasalahan sisi permintaan dan penawaran dalam penyaluran kredit/
pembiayaan dari perbankan kepada dunia usaha, dalam rangka mendorong pemulihan ekonomi nasional.
Berdasarkan kondisi tersebut, Bank Riau Kepri memiliki peluang untuk tumbuh. Peluang yang dimiliki Bank Riau Kepri antara lain sebagai berikut:
1. Potensi perkembangan perbankan dan keuangan syariah yang positif di Provinsi Riau dan Kepulauan Riau.
2. Profil penduduk muslim yang besar di Provinsi Riau dan Provinsi Kepulauan Riau.

Bank Indonesia estimates that Indonesia’s economic growth will be in the range of 4.3% -5.3%, lower than the previous estimate of the range of 4.8% -5.8% in line with the realization of economic growth in the fourth quarter of 2020. Inflation in 2021 is predicted to remain under control within the 3.0% ± 1% target.
The Board of Governors Meeting (RDG) of Bank Indonesia on 17-18 February 2021 decided to lower the BI 7-Day Reverse Repo Rate (BI7DRR) by 25 bps to 3.50%, the Deposit Facility rate by 2.75%, and the lending rate facility by 4.25%. This decision is consistent with the forecast for low inflation and maintained stability of the Rupiah exchange rate, as well as a further step towards stimulating the momentum for national economic recovery. In addition, Bank Indonesia also took policy steps as a follow-up to the policy synergy of the Financial System Stability Committee (KSSK) in an Integrated Policy Package to Increase Business Financing in the context of the Acceleration of Economic Recovery. Bank Indonesia has revised its credit / financing growth projection in 2021 from the original range of 7%
-9% to 5% -7%. In this regard, various steps are continuously strengthened by synergies in policies of the KSSK, banking and business sector to maintain optimism and overcome supply and demand side problems in channeling credit/
financing from banks to the business world, in order to promote national economic recovery.
Based on these conditions, Bank Riau Kepri has the opportunity to grow. The opportunities that are owned by Bank Riau Kepri include the following:
1. The potential for positive development of Islamic banking and finance in Riau Province and Riau Islands.
2. Profile of large Muslim population in Riau Province and Riau Islands Province.
3. Peluang perkembangan ekosistem industri halal, dengan mencanangkan Provinsi Riau dan Provinsi Kepulauan Riau sebagai halal destination dan pusat halal tourism.
4. Berdasarkan kontribusi, Produk Domestik Regional Bruto (PDRB) Provinsi Riau memiliki kontribusi terbesar kedua terhadap perekonomian Sumatera.
5. Pemanfaatan daerah dan aktivitas pariwisata di Riau Kepri memungkinkan bagi Bank untuk mengembangkan transaksi money changer dan remittance.
6. Pembiayaan yang diberikan kepada ASN belum digarap secara maksimal.
7. Perkembangan financial technology yang memungkinkan perluasan jangkauan layanan dan pasar yang lebih luas dengan berbiaya rendah.
8. Pengembangan potensi pasar diluar ASN, seperti pembiayaan di bidang infrastruktur dan juga pembiayaan ekspor impor.
9. Ketertarikan masyarakat untuk menjadi nasabah bank syariah sangat tinggi.
10. Potensi bisnis devisa di Provinsi Riau dan Provinsi Kepulauan Riau.
Berdasarkan asumsi yang telah dijabarkan di atas disertai adanya berbagai peluang, Bank Riau Kepri optimis untuk dapat senantiasa meningkatkan kinerjanya dalam jangka panjang. Dengan kata lain, Bank Riau Kepri memiliki prospek usaha yang sangat baik. Hal ini di dasarkan pada kekuatan yang dimiliki oleh Bank Riau Kepri yaitu:
1. RUPS Bank Riau Kepri pada tanggal 22 April 2019 memutuskan Bank Riau Kepri konversi menjadi bank Riau Kepri Syariah (Bank Umum Syariah/BUS).
2. Dukungan pemegang saham dan pengurus dalam pengembangan Bank Riau Kepri menjadi Bank Riau Kepri Syariah.
3. Dukungan dan komitmen penuh dari SDI Bank terhadap rencana perubahan usaha menjadi Bank Umum Syariah.
4. Awareness terhadap Unit Usaha Syariah (UUS) Bank Riau Kepri cukup tinggi.
5. Bank menjadi top of mind nasabah untuk kategori bank konvensional dan bank utama yang digunakan nasabah untuk transaksi perbankan.
6. Bank mempunyai banyak jenis produk perbankan untuk bisa dijual kepada nasabah maupun non nasabah.
7. Aspek pemodalan Bank menunjukkan tren yang positif dengan peningkatan permodalan di atas 5,04% setiap tahunnya.

Based on the assumptions outlined above along with various opportunities, Bank Riau Kepri is optimistic to be able to continuously improve its performance in the long term. In other words, Bank Riau Kepri has very good business prospects. This is based on the strengths possessed by Bank Riau Kepri, namely:
1. The GMS of Bank Riau Kepri on April 22, 2019 decided that Bank Riau Kepri would convert to Bank Riau Kepri Syariah (Sharia Commercial Bank / BUS).
2. Support from shareholders and management in the development of Bank Riau Kepri to become Bank Riau Kepri Syariah.
3. Full support and commitment from SDI Bank to the plan to change its business to become a Sharia Commercial Bank.
4. Awareness of the Sharia Business Unit (UUS) of Bank Riau Kepri is quite high.
5. The bank is the customer top of mind for the category of conventional banks and the main bank used by customers for banking transactions.
6. Banks have many types of banking products that can be sold to customers and non-customers.
7. The Bank’s capital aspect shows a positive trend with an increase in capital of more than 5.04% annually.

Penerapan Good Corporate Governance
Bank Riau Kepri senantiasa menyesuaikan diri dengan perkembangan terbaik dalam penerapan tata kelola Bank mengacu kepada ketentuan otoritas yang berlaku bagi Bank dan yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan praktik di industri Perbankan, sehingga penerapan tata kelola yang baik di Bank Riau Kepri dari tahun ke tahun mengalami peningkatan. Hasil penilaian atas penerapan tata kelola Bank yang dilakukan melalui self assessment menjadi masukan dalam memetakan dan meningkatkan praktik tata kelola yang baik di Bank Riau Kepri berdasarkan hasil rekomendasi yang diberikan.
Penilaian (self assessment) atas penerapan tata kelola Bank untuk periode tahun 2016 mengacu kepada Peraturan Otoritas Jasa Keuangan Nomor 55/POJK.03/2016 tanggal 7 Desember 2016 tentang Penerapan Tata Kelola Bagi Bank Umum dan Surat Edaran Otoritas Jasa Keuangan Nomor 13/SEOJK.03/2017 tanggal 17 Maret 2017 tentang Penerapan Tata Kelola Bagi Bank Umum.
Bank Riau Kepri secara berkala melakukan penilaian penerapan Tata Kelola melalui Self assessment penerapan Tata Kelola untuk mengukur dan mengevaluasi implementasi Tata Kelola yang Baik di Bank Riau Kepri. Evaluasi implementasi Tata Kelola yang Baik diintegrasikan menjadi 3 (tiga) aspek yaitu governance structure, governance process dan Governance outcome.
Mekanisme pelaksanaan implementasi Tata Kelola yang baik dilakukan dengan beberapa langkah, yaitu sebagai berikut: Mengidentifikasi indikator/kriteria penilaian yang akan mempengaruhi terhadap pelaksanaan penerapan Tata Kelola secara keseluruhan. Melakukan self assessment pelaksanaan penerapan Tata Kelola termasuk perhitungan penilaian komposit. Melakukan evaluasi atas hasil self assessment pelaksanaan penerapan tata kelola dan menyusun. laporan kesimpulan umum self assessment. Menyusun laporan pelaksanaan implementasi tata kelola.
Setiap periode semester, Divisi Kepatuhan melakukan penilaian sendiri (self assesment) pelaksanaan Tata Kelola Bank yang hasil penilaiannya disampaikan di dalam Laporan Tingkat Kesehatan Bank untuk selanjutnya disampaikan kepada Otoritas Jasa Keuangan (OJK).

Good Corporate Governance Implementation
Bank Riau Kepri always adjusts to the best developments in the implementation of Bank governance according to the regulatory authorities applicable to the Bank and in accordance with the needs of practice in the banking industry, so that the implementation of good governance in Bank Riau Kepri has increased from year to year. The results of the assessment of the implementation of the Bank’s governance which is carried out through self- assessment become input in mapping and improving good governance practices in Bank Riau Kepri based on the results of recommendations given.
Self-assessment on the implementation of Bank governance for the 2016 period refers to the Financial Services Authority Regulation Number 55/POJK.03/2016 dated 7 December 2016 concerning Implementation of Governance for Commercial Banks and Circular of the Financial Services Authority Number 13/SEOJK.03/2017 dated 17 March 2017 concerning Implementation of Governance for Commercial Banks.
Bank Riau Kepri periodically assesses the implementation of Governance through Self-assessment of the implementation of Governance to measure and evaluate the implementation of Good Governance in Bank Riau Kepri. The evaluation of the implementation of Good Governance is integrated into 3 (three) aspects, namely governance structure, governance process and governance outcome. The mechanism for implementing Good Governance is carried out in several steps, namely as follows: Identifying indicators / assessment criteria that will affect the overall implementation of Governance.
Conduct a self-assessment of the implementation of Governance including the calculation of the composite assessment Evaluating the results of self-assessment on the implementation of governance and compiling. general self-assessment conclusion report. Prepare reports on the implementation of governance.
Each semester period, the Compliance Division conducts a self-assessment of the implementation of Bank Governance, the results of which are submitted in the Bank Soundness Report for further submission to the Financial Services Authority (OJK). The assessment score in the semester I and II of 2020 is at a composite rating of 3 (three) or Fairly Good, which means that the Bank’s Management

Hal ini tercermin dari pemenuhan yang cukup memadai atas prinsip Tata Kelola. Dalam hal terdapat kelemahan penerapan prinsip Tata Kelola, secara umum kelemahan tersebut cukup signifikan dan memerlukan perhatian yang cukup dari manajemen Bank.
Berdasarkan hasil assessment tersebut, pada tahun 2020 Bank telah melakukan tindak lanjut sebagai berikut:
1. Terkait dengan Governance Structure, Bank telah menetapkan pengurus Bank dan telah melengkapinya sesuai SOT Bank dan ketentuan OJK tentang Penerapan Tata Kelola Bank Umum.
2. Terkait dengan Governance Process, Bank telah:
- Menyusun kebijakan untuk melakukan penyetaraan tunjangan jabatan di semua fungsi dengan level jabatan yang sama dan menghapus ketentuan SBU dan SSU.
- Memberlakukan kebijakan Direksi tentang perubahan SOTK dengan menambahkan struktur organisasi baru berupa Tim Anti Fraud yang berada di bawah supervisi Direktur Utama, dengan tujuan untuk mengoptimaliasi fungsi pencegahan, pengendalian dan pelaksanaan proses investigasi fraud secara efektif.
- Melakukan penandatangan Pakta Integritas dan Kode Etik Kepatuhan yang ditandatangani oleh seluruh Direksi Bank, Pemimpin Divisi dan Pemimpin Cabang dengan disaksikan oleh Dewan Komisaris. Selanjutnya Pakta Integritas dan Kode Etik Kepatuhan tersebut akan diteruskan ke seluruh pegawai Bank untuk ditandatangani.
- Penandatanganan pamflet anti suap/gratifikasi oleh Direksi, Pemimpin Divisi dan Pemimpin Cabang, yang nantinya pamflet tersebut akan dipasang diseluruh jaringan kantor Bank.
3. Terkait dengan Governance Outcome, Bank telah membentuk Unit kerja baru pada SOT Bank yaitu Bagian Pelaporan & Management Information System yang berada di bawah Divisi Keuangan dan Operasional. Dengan adanya unit kerja Bagian Pelaporan & Management Information System yang bertugas menyampaikan laporan-laporan Bank kepada pihak regulator baik online maupun offline secara terpusat, efektivitas penyampaian laporan Bank dapat dilakukan secara akurat, lengkap dan tepat waktu.

2. In relation to the Governance Process, the Bank has:
- Formulating policies to equalize job allowances in all functions with the same level of position and to abolish the provisions of the SBU and SSU.
- Enacting the Board of Directors’ policy regarding SOTK changes by adding a new organizational structure in the form of an Anti-Fraud Team under the supervision of the President Director, with the aim of optimizing the function of prevention, control and implementation of the fraud investigation process effectively.
- Signed the Integrity Pact and Compliance Code of Ethics signed by all Bank Directors, Division Heads and Branch Managers witnessed by the Board of Commissioners. Furthermore, the Integrity Pact and Compliance Code of Ethics will be forwarded to all Bank employees to be signed.
- Signing of anti-bribery / gratuity pamphlets by Directors, Division Heads and Branch Managers, which will later be posted throughout the Bank’s office network.
3. In relation to the Governance Outcome, the Bank has formed a new work unit at the Bank’s SOT, namely the Reporting & Management Information System Division under the Finance and Operations Division.
With the Reporting & Management Information System unit in charge of centrally submitting Bank reports to regulators both online and offline, the effectiveness of submitting Bank reports can be done accurately, completely and on time.
