This building is located in front of the Faculty of Engineering at UI Campus Depok. Every undergraduate student residing in the UI Depok dormitory has the right to live in the dormitory for one year (semester 1 and 2). The symbol of the Universitas Indonesia Student Society Association (IKM UI) is the Makara of Universitas Indonesia with the words IKATAN KELUARGA MAHASISWA UNIVERSITAS INDONESIA in black.

The requirements to become a member of the DPM UI are governed by the IKM UI laws. Chairman and Vice Chairman of BEM UI are directly elected as a couple by members of the IKM UI during a general election of Universitas Indonesia. While the Universitas Indonesia UKM Semi Autonomy Body is a place for student activities and creations in the Universitas Indonesia in the field of specialization, talent and religious services at the university level, under the coordination of the Student Representative Body.

FTUI Doctoral Program Graduates have the capabilities to demonstrate expansion and new breakthroughs in research in engineering or architectural fields in accordance with a particular stream or sub-stream. The curriculum structure for the doctoral program in all courses is the same, they are distinguished only by their codes for the research component. Periodic Research Group Seminar is an early research activity in the Doctoral Program in Research, in which students conduct literature review related to the materials for their research.

The ultimate goal was for students to gain a state-of-the-art understanding of their research topic and to determine the knowledge gap previously unexplored at the international level for further research in their doctoral program.

The publication is required to declare the Universitas Indonesia Faculty of Engineering as one of the relevant institutions. The graduation exam is conducted by the Promotion Exam Committee which is appointed by Rector's Decree based on the proposal of the Head of the Department and the Dean of the Faculty of Engineering Universitas Indonesia. The Promotion Examination Committee consists of: (a) Promoter and Co-Promoter, (b) Examiners, (c) at least one examiner from outside Universitas Indonesia.

In special circumstances, an expert who is not from the academic community may be invited as part of the examiner team. The Promotion Examination is led by the Head of the Examination Committee, who is also a member of the committee other than the Supervisor/Co-Promoter and external examiner. If the head of the examination committee is absent, his/her position can be replaced by a member of the examiners' team.

The locations for these workstations are located on the 2nd and 3rd floors of the Engineering Center building.
