In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful. Alhamdulillahi rabbal alamin, for the love and blessing from Him to the researcher to finish this Skripsi.

Shalawat and Salam are upon to the prophet Muhammad SAW, his family, his companion, and his followers.

It is a pleasure to acknowledge the help and contributions to all of the lecturers, institution, families, and friends who have contributed in different ways hence this “skripsi” is processed until it becomes complete research which was presented to the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education in partial fulfillment of the requirement for the degree of S.Pd. in English Education.

First, the researcher would like to say thank you to his beloved mother and father, his little sister Herlisha and Novisha, his friends Dimas, Reza, Irwan, Farel, and Rahmat, also his best friend in Kijang City who always pray, support, and motivate him to finish the study.

Then, the researcher also realizes that he will never finish this skripsi without the help and contribution of people around. Therefore, the researcher would like to give his best gratitude and appreciation to:

1. Prof. Dr. Agung Dharma Syakti, S.Pi., DEA., as the Rector of Universitas Maritim Raja Ali Haji Tanjungpinang who always give his best for the enhancement in every field for Universitas Maritim Raja Ali Haji Tanjungpinang.

2. Mr. Satria Agust, S.S., M.Pd., as the Dean of the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education Universitas Maritim Raja Ali Haji who gave a chance for the researcher to write this proposal.

3. Mrs. Dewi Nopita, S.Pd., M.Pd., and Mr. Benni Satria, S.Pd., M.Pd., as the Head of English Education Study Program and Secretary of English Education Study Program who always give support to the researcher as the part of English Education Study program student to finish this proposal.

4. Mr. Gatot Subroto, S.S., M.Pd., as his advisor, and Mrs. Dewi Murni, S.S., M.Hum., as the co-advisor, who have given the precious help, the guidance, and the advice patiently to the researcher during the completion and the development of the proposal.
