The aim of the research is to find out the impact of the use of reality media on the descriptive paragraph writing of students at SMK PGRI 1 Transpram II Labuhan Ratu. The result of this research showed that realia media had a positive and significant impact on descriptive paragraph writing of students in the tenth grade of SMK PGRI 1 Transpram II Labuhan Ratu. We can conclude that using real media can influence descriptive paragraph writing of students at SMK PGRI 1 Transpram II Labuhan Ratu.

First of all, the researcher thanks Allah that thanks to His blessings, the researcher can complete this undergraduate thesis titled "The Influence of Using Realia Media on Writing Descriptive Paragraphs by Students at SMK PGRI 1 Transpram II Labuhan Ratu".

Therefore, the author will conduct a study titled "The Effectiveness of Teaching and Learning Descriptive Paragraphs Using Realia Media on Students' Writing Ability of SMK PGRI I Transpram II Labuhan Ratu". Students' lack of ideas or materials to describe by writing descriptive paragraphs, using their own words. Is there any positive and significant influence of using Realia media on students' written descriptive paragraph at SMK PGRI 1 Transpram II Labuhan Ratu?”.

The objectives of the study are to find out the impact of using Realia media on descriptive paragraph writing of students at SMK PGRI 1 Transpram II Labuhan Ratu.

Another reader's reaction to the text will help the author make appropriate corrections.

It can be used as a technique to enrich other forms of writing or as a dominant strategy to develop a picture of "what it looks like".

The introduction (introduction) is a general opening statement in the first paragraph or sentence that introduces the topic of the description to the audience. In addition, it can give the audience brief details about the time, where, who or what of the subject being described. The topic sentence predicts the details that will be contained in the remainder of the paragraph.

In addition, it reminds the reader of an important point, or in other words, emphasizes the reader to imagine the subject.

The paragraph contains several specific and factual supporting sentences that explain or prove the topic sentence, including at least one example.

There are several types of realia media, the following types of realia media are as follows20. There are many advantages of Realia media, the following advantages of Realia media are as follows:21. Based on the above paradigm, if students' score is good, there is a positive and significant effect of using real media on students' writing ability.

The population in this study was the tenth grade students of TKJ of SMK PGRI 1 Transpram II. In this study, the researcher used one TKJ class of the tenth grade in SMK PGRI 1 Transpram II consisting of 30 students. To investigate whether there is a positive and significant influence of Realia Media on descriptive paragraph writing by students in the tenth grade of SMK PGRI 1 Transpram II, the researcher analyzed the data using chi-square.

Pretest result of students towards real media written descriptive paragraph in tenth grade of SMK PGRI 1 Transpram II. Post-test score of students towards real media writing descriptive paragraph in tenth grade of SMK PGRI 1 Transpram II. To find out if there was a positive and significant influence of real media on descriptive paragraph writing of students in the tenth grade of SMK PGRI 1 Transpram II.

To conclude, the use of realia media can influence students' writing of descriptive paragraph at the tenth grade of SMK PGRI 1 Transpram II. Based on the data analysis, the researcher concluded that realia media is an alternative media that had influence on students' writing of descriptive paragraph. In other words, there was a positive and significant influence of the use of realia media on students' writing of descriptive paragraph at the tenth grade of SMK PGRI 1 Transpram II.

This research was conducted only in the tenth grade of SMK PGRI 1 Transpram II with the aim of finding out if there is any positive and significant influence of the use of real media on students' descriptive paragraph writing. Based on the results of the research, the researcher concludes that teaching writing through real media could influence students' writing in learning.

RESULT OF THE RESEARCH AND DISCUSSION

Description of The Research Location

The story of the vocational high school PGRI 1 Transpram II was not long separated from the story of STM, which is led by Mr. After 31. Mei 2010, in line with the Ministry of Education and Cultural Affairs number 013/YPLP-PGRI/V/ 2010, it was changed to SMK PGRI 1 Transpram II at PLP2RP Street in Rajabasa Lama II, East Lampung. To do that, the principle of SMK PGRI 1 Transpram II is helped by the school committee and the student's deputy director.

Description of The Research Data

Source: realia media pretest results documentation in the written descriptive paragraph collected on November 4, 2017. From the above data, it could be determined that the highest score was 81 and the lowest score was 42. Furthermore, based on the Above Frequency Distribution table, it could be concluded that out of 30 students as a survey sample only about 5 students got a score similar to or higher than the MMC which is 78.

In summary, from the result of pre-test, the researcher found that the students' problem was to use effective media in the teaching learning process. After considering the pre-test result of the use of realia media in writing descriptive paragraph, the researcher conducted the treatment of realia media to help the students to get better understanding of writing descriptive paragraph. Beware of that, the researcher identified the students' problems in writing descriptive paragraph and presented realia media to know if there was positive and significant influence of it.

Moreover, since the students of this class were given the realia media treatment and they already understood, the researcher. From the above data, it can be concluded that the highest score was 88 and the lowest score was 55.

Furthermore, based on the frequency distribution table above, it could be deduced that of the 30 students sampled in this study, there were 17 students who achieved a score similar to or higher than MMC, which is 78. -the test result was categorized in a passing category, even though several students still lacked writing a descriptive paragraph, but overall there was some influence to help the students get a better understanding.

Hypothesis Testing

Contingency table of expected frequencies of students' pre-test and post-test scores. Then, to know the critical value of chi square, the researcher first calculated the df which stands for degrees of freedom. This meant that the alternative hypothesis (Ha) which explained "there is a positive and significant impact of the use of real media on students".

The researcher prepared the table and put the data into the formula of t-test below to get t_observed. The pre-test and post-test result scores of using realia median in writing a descriptive paragraph in the tenth grade of SMK PGRI 1. For clarity, t_observed was 4.6855 as a result of counting using the above t-test formula.

Meanwhile, the critical value of t-test (t_table), the researcher first counted df, df is the degree of freedom.

Interpretation

Discussion

This allowed it to be seen from the pre-test and post-test result. Students of the tenth grade SMK PGRI 1 Transpram II, in particular X TKJ 1 had done a pre-test and a post-test, where before the post-test the examiner gave them a certain treatment consisting of realia media. To be more precise, there is a positive and significant influence of the use of realia media on students' writing of a descriptive paragraph after the treatment.

In addition, realia media can be a solution for the teaching process, especially in writing, because it makes students more active during learning.

Limitation

This medium also allowed students to add or delete what they felt was necessary and vice versa. The score in the pretest is better than the posttest, which means that it influenced the students to achieve better performance and better result. It makes it easier for students to learn to write, so it can influence the writing of a descriptive paragraph.

First, the students must be brave to expand their thoughts and ideas without any fear of making mistakes so that they will be able. Secondly, the students must be creative to dig up more and more what is in their minds, to express what they feel, see, hear, smell and touch in the framework of writing and to enrich their vocabulary. The last, the researcher suggested that the students think linearly and logically when they are asked to express their ideas especially in writing.

Kata-kata disusun dengan hati-hati untuk menggambarkan objek berdasarkan warna, bentuk, asal, ukuran, bahan, jumlah dan kualitas. Kata-kata dibuat ulang dengan hati-hati untuk mendeskripsikan berbagai hal – berdasarkan warna, bentuk, asal, ukuran, bahan, kuantitas, dan kualitas.

Siswa dapat mendengarkan ungkapan yang menggambarkan benda berdasarkan warna, bentuk, asal, ukuran, bahan, jumlah dan kualitas - Siswa dapat mendengarkan ungkapan yang menggambarkan orang. berdasarkan profesi, kebangsaan, ciri-ciri fisik, sifat-sifat dan kegiatan. Siswa dapat melengkapi, mengurutkan, menulis teks yang mendeskripsikan benda berdasarkan warna, bentuk, asal, ukuran, bahan, jumlah dan kualitas. Siswa diminta untuk membuat dan mendemonstrasikan dialog untuk kelas yang meliputi: . - benda menurut warna, bentuk, asal, ukuran, bahan, jumlah dan kualitas - orang menurut . pekerjaan, kebangsaan, karakteristik fisik, . kualitas dan aktivitas 3) Membaca.

Siswa diminta membacakan teks, dialog, huruf dengan benda dengan lantang berdasarkan warna, bentuk, asal, ukuran, bahan, jumlah dan kualitas. kualitas dan kegiatan 4) Menulis.
