It was moved by Mr. Little that Pages 2 and 3 of the application be revised as fo.ll.ows: Columns A, B₁ B, and D remain as they are at present 'With the .fol1owing three revisionss (1) Footnote - (2) Add to Columns A and B a footnote showing there should be included in these two columns increase or decrease in inventory value - (3) Eliminate Column E. Motion seconded by Mr. Downs and carried.

Mr. W. Albert 0¹Brien, Manager of the future Farmers Supply Serv·ice, made a report on the Service.

Mr. Howard suggested having mats made available through the Supply Service.

It itas moved by Mr. Little that the Supply Service take over con- tracts with French-Bray, Staunton Novelty and Chapter Supply; motion seconded by Mr. Howard and carried.

It was moved by Student Secretary Bakehouse that paper picnic and banquet supplies be added by the Supply Service; motion seconded by Vice President Cartwright and carried.

It was moved by Mr. Howard that the staff of the Agricultural Fduea- tion Service review check list to make improvements; motion seconded by

Mr. Litt.le and carried.

The Agricultural Education Service staff was given authority to edit American Farmer Application blanks.

It was moved by Mr. LittJ.e that we continue to work with the Osborne Company in developing and selling a calendar for 1952₁ of equal_ quality - to the 1951 calendar; and that canpetitive bids be accepted at the ap- propriate time for the 1953 calendar; motion seconded bylilr. Naugher and carried.

- July 28, 1950 -

Dr. Howard, National Treasurer and Jliss Pauline M. Dick, Secretary to Mr. Howard, presented a report on the financial condition of the .

organization. The report was approved by the Board of Trustees and Advisory Council.

It was decided that the Supply Service send $7,500 to the F.F.A.

on September 1, 1950.

It was moved by Student Secretary Bakehouse that Miss Di.ck be employed to serve a8 secretary to the national treasurer after she is married and moves to another city; motion seconded by ^llr. Naugher and carried.

The following were recaomended for consideration atl judges in the national public speaking contests
