Rainer echoed McGavran's concept of evangelism: “He [McGavran] saw evangelism as more than just preaching the gospel; he insisted that evangelism is incomplete until the person becomes a responsible disciple of Christ.”14.

According to the apostle Paul, in order to bring growth to the church, the followers of Jesus Christ should realize that it began with him (Col 2:6-7). Finally, the ministry of multiplication is biblical and essential to achieving significant growth in the church. A look at Barnabas might be a good place to start this effort to give opportunities to others as he did with the apostle Paul (Acts 11:25).

Two questions measured the understanding and knowledge of the participants about the work of evangelism.

Training sessions and 12 addressed the understanding and implementation of discipleship practices in the life of the church. However, people accepted the opportunity even though I did a poor job of recruiting leaders and church members to be part of the project.

INTRODUCTION TO PERSONAL EVANGELISM, JULY 3, 2011

A church growth definition of evangelism is “proclaiming Jesus Christ as God and Savior, convincing people to become His disciples and . responsible members of his church.” To evangelize is to spread the good news that Jesus Christ died for our sins and rose from the dead according to the scriptures and that as the reigning Lord he now offers the forgiveness of sins and the liberating gift of the Spirit to all who will repent and believe…. George Hunter's 1979 Definitions George Hunter's three definitions .. a) "Evangelism is what WE do to make the Christian faith, life and mission a life option for undiscipled people, both outside and inside the church".

Conclusion: This session is not only for head recognition, but also for the participants to be fully prepared to do evangelism. 4Mike Bechtle, Evangelism for the Rest of Us: Sharing Christ Within Your Personality Style (Grand Rapids: BakerBooks.

SHARING THE GOSPEL WITH BELIEVERS OF DIFFERENT RELIGIONS PART 1,

They do not feel that they need to accept Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. JW believers are indoctrinated in the beliefs of the Watch Tower Bible and Tract Society. Don't make fun of JWs because they don't salute the flag or celebrate national holidays.

How can we best bridge friendship by understanding the obstacles and bridges acquired in the training and thus open the way for preaching the gospel with non-Christians. The evangelist should always remain calm and avoid any contentious conversation in order to show them love and care.

SHARING THE GOSPEL WITH BELIEVERS OF DIFFERENT RELIGIONS PART 2,

Enlightenment of Four Noble Truths and an Eightfold Path 3. Know the source of Tuk, suffering. The Buddha was enlightened with four noble truths and an eightfold path for life. a) Tuk or tukka, suffering b) Samuthai or samuthaya. The explanation of the word Niravana means going out of existence as found at note 89 or the word Nippan means cessation of existence found at note 91 of the book.

What appropriate approach can one use to discuss the similarities and differences between Buddhist and Christian beliefs. Conclusion: Participants will understand more clearly the teaching of Buddha that can indicate the way to Christ.

DISCIPLESHIP AND CHURCH GROWTH, AUGUST 14, 2011

34;If you abide in me and my words abide in you, ask what you will and it will be done for you. 34;If anyone comes to me and does not hate his own father and mother and wife and children and brothers and sisters, yes and even his own life, he cannot be my disciple" (Luke 14:26). Conclusion: After having come to some understanding of what it means, and thus 'having reckoned the price', Christ's disciples desire above all else to be like him.

Thus: 'It is enough for the disciple that he become [SIC] as his teacher' (Matthew 6:40). The disciple is one who intends to become Christ-like and thus dwell in his 'faith and customs'.

MINISTRY AND CHURCH GROWTH, AUGUST 21, 2011

Do those parts function as they are supposed to according to the scope and purpose of the Master. Conclusion: “Evangelism that results in 'free-floating converts' with no visible commitment to a local church is ineffective evangelism. And disciples are clearly devoted followers of Jesus Christ, followers whose devotion is always manifested through the ministry of a local church.”6.

FELLOWSHIP AND CHURCH GROWTH, AUGUST 28, 2011

They devoted themselves to the teaching of the apostles and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer” (Acts 2:42). DISCIPLESHIP IN WORSHIP, SEPTEMBER 4, 2011

5 John Piper, Let Nations Be Glad: The Supremacy of God in Missions, 2nd ed., rev. The only yardstick or vertical that runs unchanged through history is the yardstick of God's word. In it we have a revelation of God's character, who He is and what He needs.

Therefore, I urge you, brothers, in the light of God's mercy, to offer your bodies as living sacrifices, holy and acceptable to God - this is your spiritual act. Worship is not first an outward act; it is an inner spiritual treasure of God's character and way in Christ.

MENTORING AND CHURCH GROWTH, SEPTEMBER 11, 2011

Conclusion: "At the last meal with his closest friends, Jesus taught them and comforted them about his passing by saying 'The one who obeys Me is the one who loves Me. 7Dallas Willard, The Spirit of Discipleship: Understanding How God Changes Lives (New York: Harper Collins.

DEVELOPING LEADERS AND CHURCH GROWTH, SEPTEMBER 18, 2011

If you abide in me, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing. If you do not abide in me, you are like a branch thrown away and withered; such branches are picked up, thrown into the fire and burned. If you have remained in me and my words remain in you, ask what you want and it will be done for you.

This is to the glory of my Father, that you bear much fruit and show that you are my disciple...". You have not chosen me, but I have chosen you and appointed you, so that you may go and bear fruit - fruit , that will last - and that whatever you ask in my name, the Father will give you.

A CELEBRATION WORSHIP SERVICE, SEPTEMBER 25, 2011

Bible text: “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes upon you; and you shall be my witnesses both in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth” (Acts 1:8). The ends of the earth are the countries of the world and all the peoples of the earth. If you are the building in which God lives, your life should reflect God's caring love for the world.

The people of the world are distressed and depressed because they do not know the Shepherd, Jesus. He is calling you and me to share with him the gospel of the kingdom of heaven.

AND SEPTEMBER 25, 2011 Agreement to participate
