In this research, the type of data is interview data to find out the factors that influence the low confidence of students. The researcher interviews the students on the Whatapps app, as to collect the data the researcher analyzes the data. The technique of labeling and segmenting units of which means the descriptive information or inference compiled for the duration of a glance.
The reason became not to number the statistics, but to make it easier for the researcher to determine and classify the records. Conclusion became the process of drawing the substantive material from the collected facts in the form of an astonishing assertion and sincere. The awareness of this research turned into an approximately real digital lecture hall management used by English teachers in speaking guides.

Seventh, 8 out of 10 stated that they have filler when speaking in public, especially when speaking in English.
The other 2 students said that sometimes they have a filler, it is because they suddenly forget or feel nervous. Eighth, 9 out of 10 students said that self-confidence increased their ability in speaking skills because when they were confident, they would be easier and more relaxed when speaking in public. The other 1 student stated that according to him, confidence in speaking was number 2 and the most important grammar.
The other 5 students stated that self-confidence did not increase their ability to pronounce because they believed that pronunciation itself depended on the students' own abilities because we had to study it more deeply by mastering pronunciation. The other 6 students declared that they did not know about this because as we know that people.

Enhancing the confidence in speaking practice by using role play technique for the eight grade students in SmpMuhammadyah 3 Yogyakarta. Example: For me personally, I think the confidence doesn't improve pronunciation because my pronunciation comes from how I learn in the dictionary how to pronounce that word. Example: I think all students in English department have high self-confidence, they want to have a good speaking skill why because most of our lesson in campus about basic how we know English, just like we learn about how to write, how to reading, and of all the most important are speaking skills.
