ABSTRACT
Currently, electrical energy has become one of the primary human needs in all environments, be it at home, work place or factory. For this reason, it is necessary to monitor cos phi via wireless, electric power so that electricity consumption can be monitored easily and to find out about excessive usage out of the ordinary, in our research we used a cos phi monitoring system on the load of fans, irons, rice cookers and lights. Control system through visual basic display on laptop/PC. In this research, the system being developed is based on Arduino Nano. In controlling, this system uses the NRF24L01 module to monitor cos phi while the sensor used is the HLW8012 sensor. The result of the comparison of data per hour is that at a distance of 50 meters the average cos phi 0,06, the average voltage is 16 volts, the average current is 0,59 amperes and the average power is 161 watts, while at a distance of 100 meters the average-average cos phi 0,02, average voltage 16 volts, average current 0,51 and average power 160 watts. This proves that there are differences in data using different mileage. The maximum distance that the NRF24L01 can cover is 115 meters, if it exceeds that, the data sent will not be read on the monitor display or the visual basic display.
